Long ago on this forum there was a member that created custom rubber stamps to be used on action figures ( or perhaps just showed members how to do it. DIY tampography if you will). I vaguely recall him using white rubber erasers and stamping cobra symbols. Does anyone recall the member that offered this service? Was it Hulk Hogan ?

I dont but it sounds cool. I knew a guy who ordered custom stamp heads? From an old school stationary store.

It's a great idea. It's easy enough to get a custom stamp (just google "custom rubber stamp") and there are inks available for craft projects that work on non-porous materials like plastic. I wonder if an eye stamp would work?Just paint the whites of the eyes, then stamp on the rest.

Interesting you ask about this. I've been testing printing stamps in TPU. I've had some promising results so far, but at larger sizes. I'm hoping to try some smaller ones soon.

Not sure if that is evil, but is pretty genius. Better than stickers. A set of 10 eye stamps would work on a wide range of customs. The evil would be no one painting eyes, which I hate to paint them. It stresses me out and is getting harder for me .

I've never considered stamping eyes, but I have considered making water slide decal eyes. You could maybe get a photo real effect printing some eyes on some waterslide decal sheets. I had enough trouble keeping the inkjet ink from running on other decals that so never tried it.

Same here. Eyes are getting harder to paint day by day. For my first custom, an Ultimate Warrior, I printed a scaled mask with eyes just to use as a guide when painting the eyes, but it went so good I used it.
