Today's after work thrift store score!

I got this Chap Mei temple playset for only $2.99+tax!

It is missing the rotating door but is otherwise structurally complete. None of the figures, animals, vehicles or accessories were present, but I am not going to complain for the price. I already have a complete one from the original TRU "Animal Planet" release and now I have a spare to part out and use for other projects.

While at Walmart grabbing groceries, my son needed to grab some new biking gloves and so I hit the toy section while he looked and saw they still had 2 pegs of Batman figures for $6.97. I dug through the lines of Batman and Wingsuit Batman to find at the very back was a Selina Kyle. Grabbed her planning on jokingly asking the kiddo to get it for means when he scanned it she was only $1. He scanned the others and they were still the full price. So long story short, I finally have a Catwoman.

Yeah that was weird they clearanced Catwoman & the Penguins but kept the Batmen!

I totally forgot that my preorder of two G.I.Joe Retro Stingers showed up on Monday. Haven’t cracked them open yet but I’m kinda excited to have new vehicles to play with (my 25th Stingers are packed away in the back of the garage).

I ventured out to a mew Target to pick up one of the Star Wars Black Series Halloween Clonetrooper figures. It was the closest store that had it available for pickup. So I browsed their toy department. Nice selection of newish stuff but nothing I needed.

On the way home spontaneously stopped at another not regularly frequented by me Target and found a clearanced WWE Mr. T so I call that a win.

And in other scales the 1/6 scale ToysEra “The Omniscient” arrived. Its a 3rd party version of MCU Heimdall and I had to have it. It cost a bit more than I like to spend on unlicensed stuff but again, had to have it.

Finally a Marauder order fell into the mailbox yesterday. Three Geared-Up figures, Not Hardtop, a desert military contractor and Not Apone for my Not Aliens USCM squad..

Well, the Batman still looks like a comic Batman & so they probably think they can still sell for the holidays. The Selina & Penguin don't look that much like their comic versions so the casual gift giver may not buy them.



Now I wish I had $16. I still need the Penguin & the dio fodder/bike is nice too.
