What I got today...

Oh, I went to Ollie's tonight for their members sale.

Picked up another Star Wars Luke (Endor) and also grabbed 2x of the Pixar Monsters Inc Sully 8 inch figures for 25% off.

I showed Spectre the Sully figure and asked, "Furry Troll?"

If I can find some oversized sci-fi battle axes, maybe make up some leather and fur gear, give it a repaint, and make the face less cartoony, might have some decent furry orc/troll customs.

Think Gamorrean Guard type outfits...

On Thursday I received my Christmas present to myself: a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE (2021) tablet, case with keyboard, 1Tb SanDisk microSD card, and a multipack of screen protectors.

The tablet has a 12.4 inch screen, 256 GB hard drive, S Pen, and a 2560x1600 pixel screen.

My old tablet was a smaller trade paperback sized one I basically got to read ebooks on and do some minor web surfing.

Now if my GameSpot and Entertainment Earth packages would show up.

I picked up three of those sets so I can use the heads on B.A.T.s and the black and yellow MTF figures.

I picked up the Disney exclusive Lightyear XL-15 at DCA yesterday. Looking forward to adding it to the flightline.

This JoyToy Iron Wrecker 07 Space Ops Mech went down in price a few weeks ago so I got one.

Its listed as 1/25 scale and comes with a 1/25 scale figure, but I wanted to see if it works with 1/18 figures. I figured if it didn’t work it would make a good remote piloted mech or something.

But it does fit a 1/18 figure. Here is a MTF figure (minus the head) and it fits in the cockpit nicely. There is headroom even though I didn’t have a figure with a head handy to show.

So if you’ve been eyeing this but were worried about the scale, worry not. Its not the roomiest cockpit but it works.

oof, i did not need to know the 1/25th scale mech stuff might actually be compatible. thats too much temptation.

are you using it as is or any planning on modifications?

I'm really, really tempted to get one of those for custom purposes. Have you cracked it open yet? I saw some photos of the cockpit interior the other day, so the vehicle itself will work, but I'm also curious about whether the figure would make a good Deep Six-type dive suit.

I make no promises about any of the other 1/25 scale mechs. And I have no mods planned. I like the space suit look of it as is.

I haven’t opened it yet. When I do I’ll post some pictures. I know I’ll like the ship but the figure really intrigues me. Hoping its closer to MTF scale than ARAH.

Had some items previously mentioned delivered to a friend's house and picked them up today.

Got two new tires, oil change, inspection, and a right front tie rod. :-)

Then went to Walmart and found the Super Power Darkseid was marked down to $7 and the 'The Batman's movie motorcycle and figure was at $11.

I did see the shelf tag for those DC 6pack of Spinmaster figures was now actually $5 with seven of them left.

I heard a mother in the action figure aisle trying to find some boy toys for her son, so he wouldn't play with his sister's Barbies. I pointed out the 6pack and told her she could get the six figures for less than a single carded one. She was happy to hear that.

Oh, and those smooshed bubble Star Wars figures I saw there months ago are still there ringing up at $13 each. They look like the bubble was vacuum sealed around the figure...
