So I'm about 90% settled in my new office/studio/mancave. I thought I would begin showing off my joeverse display and maybe by the time I work through this I will have the entire room tidy enough for a grand reveal.

First up is the main GI Joe team. This is America's Elite fighting force and these guys are based at The Pit, formerly known as Ft. Wadsworth. Originally the team was secretly headquartered here but in time they were made public and this became GI Joe's home. The soldiers here are called on by mission and can be counted on to enhance any other special teams.

Duke leads GI Joe and he is stationed with America's Elite. Stalker is in charge of the base and its his responsibility to bring new recruits up to speed as well as keep the veterans well prepared for any reaponse.

GI Joe Sigma Team is the public face of GI Joe. If there is a public relations opportunity, these are the soldiers who show up. Don't be deceived by their outgoing and friendly demeanor, they are always ready to jump into action.

Scarlett, the team liason and field command. Her easygoing attitude and sweet southern accent is a PR dream. Her no-nonsense and tactical mindset makes her a perfect team lead.

Heavy Duty loves to give weapons demos and he knows how to talk about them without appearing violent.

Tunnel Rat talks tactics and gives a closeup hands on experience with a typical GI Joe loadout.

Spirit gives hand to hand combat demos and Freedom is always a favorite.

Hogan was brought in as a PR stunt but has proven himself as a valuable team member several times.

Truckee is one of the new recruits on the team. His past experience as a firefighter is a gr3at draw while he shows that GI Joe are more than soldiers on a combat field.

Destiny and Future new recruits and are Trooper Alpha and Trooper Bravo. They demonstrate the Super Trooper armor and are the examples of Tommorow's Soldier Today.

Thanks, the Super Troopers were kind of a happy accident. I had the two Marauder camo bodies, and I bought the geared up Marauder silver figures and had nothing planned for any of them. Figuring chrome armor had no place on a battlefield I decided to use them the way Captain America was used to sell war bonds and entertain the troops.

BF3k is the successor to Battle Force 2000. These guys are the think tank for GI Joe. New weapons, programs, and armor come from the inventors and programmers assigned to this group. They're not a bunch of lab rats and computer nerds, they can be relied on as fully trained soldiers. Currently assigned to the HAARP facility to counter the invasion of the Lunartix and the abduction of General Hawk.

Hi-Tech was given the lead of the team. He brought his friends Firewall and Hard Drive who all completed the greenshirt program together.

DJ, the son of Deejay, was a no-brainer for the group and instantly became the fourth in Hi-Tech's close circle of friends.

Cannonball is a former stunt show performer. He is the team's primary vehicle designer and tester. Given a weapon system, he will develop a chassis.

Forge works closely with Cannonball. He has an affinity for large weapons. Large, mounted weapons are even better.

Greg Scott and Matt Trakker were brought in as advisors, both victims of corporate takeovers so to speak.
Matt Trakker was a major player in the Mobile Armored Systems company developing dual purposed vehicles, the company was bought and sold to appease shareholders.
Greg Scott is one of the very few to escape OverKill Industries alive. A former robotics developer at the original company, he was turned into a walking weapon by the new owners. He now has the tools at his disposal to reverse the procedures but he's too focused on new technologies to worry about his past.

Helix is hyper-focused on small arms weapons and making the actions smoother and faster. She doesn't work so much on new technology, but makes old technology better.

Red Spot began as a laser weapons soldier. He came to the team as a tester but has used his experience to design new weapons and targeting systems.

Ashiko has a love for motorcycles and anime. He's used those passions to bring many scifi fantasy ideas to life. He's worked with Matt Tracker to develop his Cycle Armor, an actual electric motorcycle that can be worn as an exo-frame weapon system.

The team is surrounded by their designs and inventions.

ROBOJoes are designed to be operated remotely in virtual reality pods, keeping the soldiers safe while allowing them to operate in any environment with impossible strength and ability.

PACRATs are automated small battlefield robots that serve as personal assistants to soldiers or entire units. The large hard drives can serve as computer hacking or sabotage units, giving access to enemy systems or infecting them with viruses. They can even be wired with explosives as sacrificial saboteurs but field tests have shown soldiers develop an attachment to the bots and actually risk their lives for the PACRATs.

This was one of my unexpectedly favorite parts of my collection. I was born bred into the world of ARAH, and the Adventure Team was goofy dolls that came before my time.

Then came a subteam challenge on this board or TNI, and I used the Joe Colton newsculpt figure to build my team. Originally, I used the green and black striped with maroon hats as the team colors. Since then, I've expanded the team and updated the figures while slowly building a fleet of yellow vehicles.

I waxed on and on before of how I see this team as the joe version of James Rollins' Sigma Force. A group of explorers and scientists with a military background that always comes into play.

Joe Colton is the Adventure Team Commanding Officer. An experienced soldier with a wealth of knowledge to navigate the dangerous political environments of the world

Dial-Tone is his right hand man and mission planner. In the field it's his priority to maintain secure communications and call for back up as needed.



Scoop is always nearby to document the team's discoveries and his camera equipment helps to give the team an official, non-military presence.

Nightingale is a certified emergency nurse & trained field medic. She is also Colton's daughter.

Tollbooth handles the AT ROCC and no one doubts his ability to get that beast through the roughest terrain. He also doubles down as the team's mechanic with Bazooka's help.



Bazooka travels with the AT under the guise of assistant and muscle man. He can frequently be found lugging the cases of research equipment. His true objective is to keep the artillery in working order and have it ready to deploy at any time.

Alpine usually gets the job of rappelling into ravines and scaling sheer cliffs. He wouldn't trade a minute of it. He loves what he does and gets to travel the world with his best friend.

Dogfight is a recent addition to the team. Colton requested a dedicated pilot and Dogfight volunteered. Talented with fixed wing and rotory aircraft, he delivers the air support as needed.

Time for some bad guys:

Zartan's mysterious illness forced him into hiding with Zandar as his protector while the original trio of Buzzer, Ripper, and Torch searched for a cure by any means necessary. Meanwhile Zarana attempted to fill the void, but Zanya had plans of her own to maintain the gang until Zartan recovered. The dispute led to The Dreadnok Uncivil War as Zanya rallied the new members and Zarana in her disgust took Road Pig to start her own chapter.

Zarana discovered another of her brother's illegitimate children with his own gang in Chicago. The mohawked Zeke ran his punk gang, The IronKlad, as a bunch of in your face thugs and thieves.

Zanya was left with the new recruits and was hardly prepared to face her aunt and unknown brother. The elder members like Gnawgahyde brought legitimacy to her claim and the fresh faces held their ground.

The truth of Zartan's illness was finally revealed to be MARS designed nanobots planted by Cobra Commander. Once the healing was complete, he returned and put an end to the war. Zartan is still recovering from injuries and betrayal of Cobra, while the Nok's are recovering from the war.

The IronKlad were given permission to ride with the Dreadnoks but no one expects them to ever receive their patch. I created these guys as Ninja Force versions of the OG gang. Zanzibar and the crew of his ship The Topknot are in the back row, as well as the hanger ons, The Dreadheads.





Ma Nok's roadhouse Dixie's Diner. The roadhouse is always a safe place for the gang to get their bikes or bodies patched up.

Storm Shadow retreated to his home and vowed to rebuild his Arashikage clan. He remained neutral to the world's battles and focused on the apprentices who journeyed to the doors of his family temple. As his clan grew, word spread through Japan and soon members of the Yakuza came calling. They brought money, power, and most importantly a claim to the Arashikage name. Tommy attempted to turn them away but was blinded by their claim of family. The Yakuza slowly populated the result compound and one day opened the gates to their new partners, The Reddokuran.

Known internationally as the Red Ninja Clan, they were enemies of the Arashikage. Seigh-Tin, the leader of the clan, boasted that he had returned to the home of the Reddokuran. The Arashikage was but the seed of Reddokuran and now he ruled both clans. When Storm Shadow challenged him, his apprentices were quickly ambushed and he was forced into subservience. To his horror, he later learned of the alliance of the Reddokuran with Cobra Commander and The Red Shadows. The life that Tommy had tried to escape had now returned and he was on the wrong side once again.

James McCullen was forced to ally with Kharma and her Phoenix Guard to rescue his son and wife from the nation of Springfield when young Cobra Commander III took them hostage. With his goal achieved, he left the island nation to its fate with GI Joe. His Python Patrol double agents secured his escape and they all retreated to the McCullen family castle in Trans-Carpathia.

Ever the business man, he recognizes the coming conflict surrounding Cobra Commander and the new Red Shadow alliance. Destro signs on to supply weapons the new alliance and his Iron Grenadiers are once again on the battle lines.



The surviving Python Patrol led by Scrap-Iron take point in battle.





In Trans-Carpathia, a new threat arose. The Soldiers of Kaos, Anarchy, and Ruin, known simply as SKAR came to Destro for assistance. Destro recognizes a new leader, a man called Iron Klaw, to be manipulated and recruits them into service.
