I hadn't seen those mega sized joes... that cobra commander is very tempting.

Did you find those at Target? Glad to see that wave hitting retail, it's been a while since the last TVC wave hit.
Not Target. Walmart.

Walmart! Yowza, that's surprising. It might be time for me to clear out the 4 Landos that have been on the pegs for 18 months in hopes we'll get something new :-)

Thanks, but it's more than that; I've been an active (more or less) member since 2003. :)

Me too. I haven't been on there in years though. Especially not since 1/6 figures went from around $40 to over $200.

I got the Kenobi Droid Factory set. Between the sale they were having and some Disney dollars I got it for half price...which was probably too much. 1-JAC has molded on guns and open hands. NED-B has the articulation but the bulky build hinders all of it accept the legs. Probe Droid is a Probe Droid. My R3 had a bad mold pull peg that keeps one of the legs from staying on. I ain't mad, I'm disappointed. Really glad I didn't jump on it when it was initially released.

Marvel Legends Howard the Duck. He was the only figure I wanted from that Guardians' Collector set awhile back, but the lack of articulation along with the cost kept me from going after it. Now I've got a version with at least upper body movement...and Scott Lang's head in a jar. Not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed that the neck in the jar isn't ball jointed so I could easily switch out the head for smirking Paul Rudd. But I guess that's what the xacto and drill bits are for.

Lastly, I got one of those old Radio Shack R/C Army Jeeps that has a knockoff VAMP cannon on the back. It looks great. Kind of works with o-ring Joes, kind of. And it runs...only in reverse. Stupid cheap 80's R/C vehicles. One of those novelty Joe-adjacent items I've kind of always wanted but never bothered to track down. Great for the motor pool and not much else.

Let's see... this past weekend I got some Valaverse Action Force figures (Kill-Switch whose right foot I promptly snapped off due to a stuck joint and not paying attention, a couple Eclipse for Steel Brigade variants, a Steel Brigade version 2 and Trigger who I only picked up because he gets some good action in the novel).

I also picked up some new Lightyear stuff at California Adventure. They had a 3-pack of the figures, Izzy, Mo and Buzz in their white suits, similar to the figure that came with the Disney exclusive XL-15. And they had the white Space Ranger Buggy with Darby in the same white suit. Haven't opened them yet but plan to take pictures that I'll post in the Lightyear toys thread in the main Joes forum.

And some Star Wars TVC, Black Series and some Power Rangers Lightning Collection figures.

Saturday errand hauls

Walmart
Catwoman and Batman 'damaged' motorcycle set $9
Lightyear Tesh and Crash '01 $17
Black Adam and Intergang set $9
Darkseid $4

Best Buy
SW Vintage Death Watch Trooper $10.5

Target
ReAction Shipwreck
4x SW Axe Wolf $7each
She-Hulk 6in $11.5

Thinking of a darker paint scheme for Darkseid and turning the Lightyear plane into a MARS Destro/Baroness transport.

The Axe Wolves probably will get head swapped.

Small haul from the Washington Toy Show. Figures were between .50 and 2$, except for the big guy. Anyone know which alien variant that is?

Loved the stickers of Joes with their pets, @arthouseofem on ig is the artist.

That’s NECA’s Rhino Alien based on the original Kenner figure.

Same here, hence the "more or less", mostly less. LoL
Can't remember the last "new" figure I bought. When I started, an entire accessory set was around $15. Now they want that much for ONE piece! :-/

Anyway, here's a few more finds from the last few days.
The Spider-Man ($7) and Fortnite were Ross, Toy Box Big Lots for $5 and Recondo was Target.

Got the JoyToy fig from Amazon and this Crayola snow vehicle on clearance from Walmart and its scaled perfectly for 1/18. There are a few molded snowflake designs on each side and the word "Crayola" on the back door which could easily be sanded off.
Image

Plenty of space in the back
Image

And the cab area has plenty of space. The only detail in there is a molded dashboard which is practically on the floor. But plenty of space to add seats and whatnot.
Image

Comparison with a Lanard jeep.
Image
Image

And few shots with some figures.

I immediately thought "Adventure Team" when I first saw this vehicle and definitely want to get at least one more.

Spectre clued me into this one a few weeks back, but they are all gone at this point.

Would have made a near winter ops Oktober Guard vehicle too.
