Roadblock. GI Joe heavy machine gunner, 1984 style. I've been a fan of the character but not of his v1 figure. I was inspired by LIVEVIL's custom and the Mezco One:12 figure.

Damn! That's a RB I would not screw with. What parts are those? The detail's incredible (those veins!).

I used the comic pack Roadblock head, torso, waist and legs from SF Guile (brown version) and the arms are a cast by Jason Bandy (facebook). I used the same arms but in white for my Omega Red custom.

The original arms are an idea by LIVEVIL, they are a mix between Sagat and Big Boa.

Outback v1 is one of my favorite figures from the vintage line. I lost him in a night parachute mission, but that's another story.
I've always liked his card art look. There are tons of customs of Outback and I just wanted to make something different and put him in out of his environment, now facing the Cobra Alley Vipers in an urban setting. That's why I used the Alley Viper torso and Outback original colors.

Looks great. Nice use of the Alley Viper torso, and painting the light on the backpack.

Always dig outback customs. He looks like a 80's cop out to bring down a cartel by himself.

ROBOTO. Masters of the Universe.
In my Joeverse, Roboto is the GI Joe counterpart to Cobra BATs. Pros: he is intelligent, more versatile and stronger. Cons: he is only one.

This is my second attempt at making Roboto. I was never happy with the Nitro-viper head I used in the first place. When I found the "jaw" in a Hot wheels shark themed vehicle, I saw the opportunity to revisit the head. In the second picture you can see where the visor came from. An Overkill head, heavily sanded, was used as the base.

Captain James "Jim" Hopper, longtime friend of Dutch Schaffer, was the commander of a special forces green beret US Army unit sent to the jungles of Val Verde. Presumed killed by a Predator along with his unit, somehow he was able to survive the encounter and join Dutch's predator hunt team.

I wanted to make a custom of Jim since I got acknowledged about the trivia with his name and the Netflix series Stranger Things.

I just needed inspiration and found it in a custom by Jogunwarrior's Real American Customs and in a post of Repeater by action-force.dk at instagram.

I tried a little plastic surgery on Repeater's face as you can see in picture 2. Thanks for looking.

BIG BOSS.
Considered by some as "The Greatest Warrior of the 20th Century," he earned such monikers as "the Legendary Soldier" and "the Legendary Mercenary," feared in combat by both friend and foe as a hero and a madman.

Now that he is working for GI Joe, is he still dreaming with a nation of soldiers?

Image

As a member of the G.I. Joe team, Big Boss serves as a tactical advisor and trainer, passing on his knowledge and skills to the other members of the team. He is an expert in guerrilla warfare and unconventional tactics, able to adapt quickly to changing situations and think on his feet in high-pressure situations.

Big Boss is also a master of infiltration, skilled in sneaking past enemy lines and gathering critical intelligence. He is a deadly hand-to-hand combatant and proficient with a wide variety of weapons, including firearms, explosives, and close-combat weapons.

Despite his impressive skills, Big Boss can be a bit of a loner, preferring to work alone or with a small team rather than relying on large groups. However, he is fiercely loyal to those he considers his allies and will stop at nothing to protect them.

Overall, Big Boss is a valuable asset to the G.I. Joe team, bringing a unique set of skills and experiences to their efforts to keep the world safe.

Lots of good stuff here. Really impressed with the Roboto and your continued efforts to produce o-ring style customs.

Giving Repeater's face the strong jaw he lacked is a marked improvement. I really like the parts combination of Big Boss. I never would've guessed those parts would look that good together. Like the paint job too.

So much great stuff in this thread, but those two recent additions are particularly awesome. I never, ever would have thought to make a custom of Jim Hopper. It's such a great pull from the source material, and the figure looks great. Like LIVEVIL said, I never realized how much of an improvement a more prominent jawline makes to the Repeater head, but it makes a huge difference. I like the color scheme, too.

And Big Boss...absolutely beautiful. MGS3 is one of my favorite games ever made, and I've been trying and failing to make a decent Big Boss/Naked Snake custom for a solid decade. You nailed it. The Mercer head was a great choice, and I never would have thought of using the Freefall chest, but it works so well; even the pattern of the harnesses match between the chest and waist. But the thing that really makes this custom shine is that awesome camo paint job! It's a gorgeous figure. Really, really impressive stuff.
