Every Joe #236

There were a few characters in the DiC cartoon that had potential. If Jackie Love, the in-universe Bob Hope, had been rolled out in any of Hama's material, it could have made for an interesting story.

I saw the DiC episode within weeks of reading a biography of Bob Hope, so it really made me appreciate the writing that went into the throw away character.

Yeah, some of the ancillary characters are fun as all get out. The Viper, Hector Ramirez, Honda Lou, Jackie Love, Mr. C, etc . They are all fun additions to the mythos.
This is a great piece of art and really sells the character.

Thanks. Many of the characters can just exist surrounded by empty space. But Jackie Love needed a stage and lights to really explain who he is. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks.

Sliding in the forgotten characters is an important part of the project. They all bring something to the mix.
