Your figures always look great, and this batch is no exception. But those Swamp Rats really steal the show: they're perfect updates. I loved the design and the concept of the Swamp Rats when they came out, but I just couldn't get into the new-sculpt proportions. These customs solve that problem while keeping everything that worked about the originals. Even the lankiness of the sculpt works in their favor: it gives them a nice, appropriately creepy feel. Plus, I love that you included the tail. Fantastic work on these guys!

Nice group. From a properly proportioned Swamp Rat to the spikey hair for Abattoir, all of these figures feel... complete. Like they each tell a self-contained story somehow.

Adding the silver stripes inside of the mustard ones on the firefighter's turnout gear is a perfect touch, too.

swamp rats look awesome! i also really enjoy tour original characters. abattoir on and off page really looks great! the name has meaning for me too. i see '96 on your drawing. somewhere around that time i was using "robert abattoir" and "slaughterhouse bob" as pen names. my first screen name was also robert abattoir on AOL chat.
Thanks!

Dude that’s awesome.

When my brother started his short lived band he used the name Abattoir. I badly played bass in his high school battle of the bands.

It’s such a cool word and should be used more

Thanks everyone.

If anyone recognizes the belt I used on the Swamprats and can tell me what it’s from I’d appreciate it. I’d like to get at least one more to make the final color combo for the swamprat trifecta

Here’s one I just finished.

Zombie Wraith

It started with the awesome 3D file GigaBread made of zombie wraith. I loved the classified head so I shrank it down, printed it, painted it, and figured I needed to do the body as well.

So I did.

Pretty sure that's the belt/bandolier from the Retaliation Cobra Commander figure with the chest strap cut off.

THANK YOU!

It is!

I'm buying the figure right now. For some reason I thought it was some rare Star Wars figure belt

My first thought was Jango Fett but it has too many pouches and they are sculpted differently. sgartz is on with the CC belt. Its one of the lesser articulated figures so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

That’s what I thought too. But I couldn’t find it. Thankfully like you said that CC isn’t crazy expensive but still it wasn’t cheap especially when all I need is the darn belt

Wish I'd seen this sooner, pretty sure I have some of those belts somewhere. Looking forward to another Swamp Rat.

Zombie Wraith looks good too!

Ok now you HAVE to make Ketch from the X-Wing novels.
