That's awesome. Iron Giant on the flight deck counts as G.I. Joe as far as I'm concerned. If those were easier to find cheaply, and it wouldn't defeat the entire purpose of the character and his story, I'd be tempted to do an olive green Iron Giant repaint to go with the Joes.

Gotta love good buys. Storm, Dial Tone, & Red Zone were the main reasons I bought the lot. Red Zone & the Gung Ho both came with their pistols and RZ had on a vest I don't remember.

I believe the vest on Red Zone is for the 2005 DTC Barrel Roll.

They're probably way too expensive but a Star Tours ship would be cool base for band van for them.

(edit: Evidently only one of the Star Tours ships was action figure scaled, I couldn't even find that version on a quick ebay look. Wanted to clarify because I was seeing some reasonably priced ones that opened up and had internal seating but they were actually way undersized)

I had a busy last few days. Here's the results;

Sat/Sun: Hit a Wal-mart and a Target. The JW set has to go back, though. Owen has 2 left arms.


Target had the Batwing, $39.99. It's for 12" figures!



Monday: Hit 2 more Targets and a Ross. Finally got a $12 Duke & Ram!


Anyone buying BBQ, price match!! Target website has it for $24.99, here's the store's price.


Tuesday : Back to the same Target as Sunday. Again, I price matched the Iron Man and saved $5.

It’s Free Comic Book Day so the Little Warrior and I went to the city to get comics (the hat came from the same store).

On the way home we stopped at another comic store and I grabbed some figures for 50% off. The Avatar is for the LW. The rest is for me.

My ReAction VINCENT showed up in the mail yesterday - closest I'll get to having a 1:18-scale version (since a vintage one is $$$) - not bad at all.

Then I went & finally put up a big shelf (6ft wide x 18" deep) to hold my giant-ass Star Wars ships that I've been [LASER BLAST] for years about not having enough space to display:



I'm going to end up painting the shelf black (the white stands out too much) and using different foam board for the surface - just wanted to get this up and get the ships off my coffee table, weigh bench, & floor in the Chief Cave. Now that I have them all together, the big-ass Falcon doesn't look so big anymore next to the newer Slave 1 and Razor Crest...

I have all three of the Black Hole ReAction figures on the way. Not a great film but it has sentimental value to me. I had a vintage VINCENT back in the day so I had to get these.

My Razorcrest is sitting on the stand on top of the box because I don’t have a space for it. And that Slave 1 is still IN the box for the same reason. You’re right that the BMF doesn’t look as big in comparison.

Yesterday I picked up a Shazam Hawkman and Atom Smasher for $4 each at Walmart.

Nothing new at Target.

Did pick up the Star Trek The Next Generation Seasons 4-6 DVD set and Seasons 1-3 of the original Mission Impossible one. Using a coupon I got both for $26ish.
