As a guy who's been here since the Bivouac and the AOL board hearing that the forums are coming to an end is not pleasant. Understandable....but not pleasant.

Same here. Totally understandable, and everything has its time, but this has been my favorite site of any kind for at least 25 years now. Something I've looked at almost every single day for that entire time. I'll miss seeing that tab open on my browser when the time comes.

I was just chatting with 2Dark today and he told me about this convo. This is heartbreaking.

This site has not only been a great place to learn and get ideas but it's helped me make friends in the Joe community in ways Facebook just doesn't.

i am finally able to load jc again. i was doing the redirect robot thing on pc and phone, then i just started getting failure to load errors. just for jc too. i know my phone auto updates so it might of been my network or something.

im pretty sure this is my jc 10yr ann. how can it seem so long ago and just now. it hurts me to see it go.

well I had my adblocker off & posted something then it was getting redirected to an ad site in a loop no less
