Also saw the X-Jet (sorry, no picture).
Anyone know if Wolverine is actually shorter than the others? Stupid, over-kill packaging doesn't allow for side-by-side analysis. In hand, he looks to have no neck.

There’s an Epic Heroes Doc Ock???

Thanks, Goldbug. I don't mind if Target get's stuck with extras. Just a better chance I'll find one on clearance. :)

Thanks. Looks like Otto doesn't have the same amount of articulation the other figures under the Epic Heroes umbrella possess. (Why??)

For a gimmick that relies mainly on a separate backpack piece, that shouldn't be the case--I mean, the Spider-Man from that subline is a repaint of the regular version, full articulation and all.

Right, Spiderman is a repaint. That mold has been made and paid for.

Doc Ock is a new mold created for this gimmick like with his budget being tied to making that backpack. So they had to cut the articulation.

Got the X-Men ‘97 Team Jet with Storm today.

The figure is pretty good, only change I’d have made was a softgoods cape for better posing.

The jet itself is a decent little vehicle. I could see Joe customizers making a ‘Mk II’ version of the 1990 Cobra Hurricane with some clever repainting.

*Update 8/13/23*
Added Cyclops, Rogue, and Wolverine as of today. Fingers crossed Gambit will have a standalone release outside the Target pack.

Thanks for the pictures, RabbitofSeville.
Looks like Wolverine is short enough that I'll pick one up next trip. :-D

Just be wary in case a salesperson tells you:

“I am sorry, we are out of wolverines. Would you accept a badger in its place?”

When is that Target 5 pack with Gambit supposed to come out?

Finally picked up some of the single-packed 'Mech Strike Mechasaurs' figures, Iron Man and Thor.

I can take or leave the little dino-weapons, but...

Why no cape for Thor? Or even an additional accessory remotely resembling Mjlonir?

Maybe cut the tail off the dino thing?
