Think they'll reissue Green Lantern and Black Manta while they're at it?

A Green Lantern was spotted in the wild ....

As mentioned in the comments after the jump (link)...one has to wonder why Green Lantern hasn't been reissued considering he doesn't peg warm (unlike Superman respectfully)...

The photo appears to be long gone.

It's likely something with the link that's problematic. Here's the picture:

Thanks.

I can definitely say I haven't seen him or Lex Luthor on the shelves I've looked at of late--and that's even in places like Go! Calendars and Toys. It's mostly been Superman, Cyborg, Shazam, or any lingering Batman and Joker figures.

....it's bizarre.

Clearly people want the character and , like you, i've only seen the characters that you've mentioned ad nauseam.

The universe blessed me with some fortune when i found mine online.
I saw it once in person following that (well over a year ago).

Y’know, I think it’s time toy companies ditched the whole shortpacking thing altogether.

Totally agree. It wouldn't be so bad if it was weaker figures that got the short treatment, like Superman (no pun intended). There's so many out there in Walmart, Target, Ross, etc., they don't need to ship out as many.

I think maybe they do it to create "buzz" of a "short packed" figure. Hasbro did something like this with the G.I.Joe Retaliation line.
There was a Cobra Commander in black and a "rarer" blue Cobra Commander. Until later, when they shipped out SOLID CASES of 12 blue Commanders. I knew a guy working at TRU at the time, showed me pictures.
Crazy.

Picked up the regular Blue Beetle movie figure (the one with the rings) today, and I must say, it's pretty nice, hindered shoulder articulation aside.

I never saw that set.
I want to say $19.99 was the regular price.
Ugh and my Big Lots is a desert for toys.

Agreed. They gave the Joker two outfits so far, why not the same for Harley?

RIP Arleen Sorkin.
