Fitting that my last custom would be a figure that I've always wanted to make but never had the parts. As the site goes into the archives, I want everyone to know how much joy this place has given me. I have so many friends from here.

This figure is in some ways the culmination of everything that Matthew and I have been doing for the last two decades. In collaboration with Darren Howlett of Whiskeyjack Toys, Matthew and I (of ChadMatted) have been working on launching our own action figure line, Legends of the Hidden Force!

This body was designed by Matthew for Legends of the Hidden Force and 3d sculpted by Corvinus Creations. Matthew 3d modeled the stand, swords, and sash. The head is a GI Joe Club Billy that was scanned by Rod Pellegrini, and the parts were 3d printed by Kronin1 of Level 7 toys.



Ultimately, I would love to have a factory produced version of Billy, but that is a pipe dream of mine.

Our Backerkit is currently taking pre-orders for these figures. There is a white ninja, Master Ayakashi, that unlocks at 300 backers, so I may just have to make another custom then. Congratulations an amazing year! I still remember the first time I checked out the Chad & Matthew customs site. Every one of them looked like it had been factory produced and shipped over from some alternate universe. Just pages and pages of inspiration. Thanks for sharing your work all these many, many years. Can't wait to see where you go from here.
