Seeing the name LIVEVIL pop up in the critiques section and knowing that I'm about to see an absolute masterpiece of a custom figure is one of the best things about this hobby. This is just a beautiful figure: the sculpting on the chest is so crisp and clean, and the paint job is somehow even better: the details, like those little red lines on the straps, make this figure come alive. And I love the use of the Skystriker and Rock-Viper parts for the legs: it's a combination I never would have thought of, but it's perfect. Amazing work, as always.

A few years back participating in JoeCustoms.com Secret Santa, (Damn, that's something else I'm truly going to miss here... :-( ) my recipient's wish list included any custom made in the 82-'83 style. I chose to go with that and created Black Out. A simple, not too-complicated build, I originally wasn't going to use the Corps! head but it just looked so awesome to me on the Tripwire torso that I kept it. I sent it off to my recipient but unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of it at the time and I didn't really think much about until recently. I recalled the formula and I luckily had the same parts in my fodder and decided to build him again.

Black Out - Cobra Sniper

Parts used:
Head - The Corps!
Torso, arms, and waist - Tripwire 83

Very cool take on Blackout, that headsculpt is different for him, but it works. Love it.

Blackout is on my lengthy to do list. I've always wanted to put together a vintage style (mid to late 80's) take on Blackout. All I have is the head and torso I want to use.

Heavily influenced by PMC's (Private Military Company) like Blackwater and Aegis seen operating during the Iraq War and in other conflicts, I decided to create my own fictional PMC called Ironwolf.

I began this project back in 2016. I had the name and logo set and made 3 contractors first with plans to make at least 8 but life and other distractions made me abandon the project until November 2023. After 7 years, I revisited the project and made 3 more contractors, now with a total of 6 contractors finished. I have parts for a 7th assembled but will finish him at another time. They don't have complete backstories at the moment, only single names to distinguish them. I also gave them a vehicle in the form of an incomplete GI Joe Night Ops Humvee with the Ironwolf logo on the doors. I hope you like what I've done. I want to give a huge special thanks to our good buddy DanOfTheDead for helping me with the creation of the logo. He is without question a very talented fellow and I am most grateful for his help. I also wish to thank Bad Mother Tattoos & Customs for reproducing my logo into waterslide decals. Everything I've gotten from them has been top notch and I highly recommend them.

Nice set of contractors. (Might want to change the 09 to 05 on the one with the T-Rat head and arms.)

More excellent work, I'm glad you finished them. Good parts selection for the uniforms, and excellent head choices too. All unique while still being a cohesive team.

I will never, ever not be excited to see new LIVEVIL customs. All of the Ironwolf guys look amazing: the parts choices and the paintwork are all stellar, as always, but it's the amount of character you brought out of each head that really sets them apart. I can practically see the file card for each of them just from the heads. And that is instantly the coolest Blackout figure ever made. That sleek armor looks great and makes him much more menacing that any other version I've seen. The head was a fantastic call: the mask fits so perfectly for a Cobra character.

Really awesome to see that design put to use. Love how it looks as the patch and on the vehicle, that's great. Incredible looking set.

You rescued that Major Storm head.

Is the Warhorse their leader?

Thanks, man. No, Ironwolf is completely separate from The Warhorse and Flatline International. I haven't thought of a specific leader for Ironwolf just yet...
