If anybody's reading up to page 6 of a thread they don't care about; that's their fault for being a masochist, imho.

HLJ finally posted the listings I've been waiting for. They aren't MRS, but they're just as articulated if not moreso. They're the new Souchaku Henshin(amror transformation) figures for Kamen Rider: THE NEXT.
http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN951582

For pictures of two of them follow these links.
http://www.amiami.com/shop/ProductInfo/product_id/86192
http://www.amiami.com/shop/ProductInfo/product_id/86193

The figures are: Rider 1(first link), Rider 2(pretty much just a repaint of 1), and V3(second link).

They're around 5", give or take and feature at least some die-cast content to them. It looks like they're part of a new subline for THE NEXT since they're not listed as standard Armor Trans figures and they don't appear to actually have the removable armor. Regardless, they look friggin' nice!

Now, for something a bit more odd, I also found this listing.

I don't know what it is right now, but I have a suspicion this might be the MRS THE NEXT wave we've been waiting for. We'll see since I'm sure someone will have pics of them before too long.

Dammit, there's no good reason those couldn't be 18th scale. But, alas and alack; they aren't per your knowledge and so I don't care about them. Nice looking figs tho; but it's only Japan's fault they're not gonna get my cashola.

Marasai, you have any knowledge about more Revoltech minifigs, like the two EVAs they did? I'd love more stuff in that scale, altho many of their 5" robots are already in 18th scale (from a certain point of view as armor suits).

Far as I know, those EVAs were it, which is a shame. We'll see though. They're doing an Arm Slave from Full Metal Panic down the line as well as two Brocken Labors who for some reason lack weapons and a Helldiver Labor which would work very well as armored suits.

Oh, thought I'd show these off since I just came across them. I wish GTG had a WWI style gas mask like the kind the Shocker troopers are wearing so I could make myself a Shocker army. You have no idea how much I want toys of those bad guys. If that MR THE NEXT 1 vs. 2 thing is indeed a movie based MRS assortment, I hope to God that they've got the bad guys included.

Chainsaw Lizard is a must just on name alone! The Spider, Snake, and Cobra character designs rock, too. I'd kill to get that chick in 18th scale.

:verymad: Rrrr. I just found out what the MR Rider 1 vs. 2 set is. It isn't Motion Revive. Its Movie Realization which is a subline of the SIC series. Meaning, they're hyper detailed and cool looking, but way too big to be in scale with just about anything. Time to go cancel that preorder.

We need MR figures of the movie characters!!!

The souchaku figures are awesome! Too bad they're not the right scale.

And we've got confirmation of MRS series 4.
http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN952291

from what I've dug up on it, series 4 will include at least three "Riders" from Hibiki, Kiva(the newest rider as of the 27th), and... DENEB!! Perfect companion figure for Zeronos to smack around. Supposedly, Deneb isn't the secret figure, either.

Edit: Pics help. You've got Kiva on the far left, the spot next to him indicates one of Kiva's forms will probably be in there, then you have Deneb, and the three guys from Hibiki, which appear to consist of the guitar guys(easy repaint) and the trumpet dude.

Its cool that we'll get the 2008 rider in that serie, but I still don't get why they don't make the classic riders...

Thanks for the info!

*All* of the Motion Revive sets are 18th scaled, bro. Sets 1 & 2 are done and gone from HLJ so ebay's your easiest source (which is where I found set 1), but Googling 'Motion Revive' may get you other sources. Set 3 is due to hit the streets before the month is out so you can get them from HLJ if you like, and set 4 will no doubt be open for more pre-orders shortly. I just put mine in last night on seeing Marasai's link and they're already all pre-sold out of their initial requested amount, but they'll get more.

I doubt you'll like *every* fig in every set, but you'll like enough of them to warrant getting a set to test the waters. You like MM figs so you'll appreciate how these are built sturdier than them while retaining MM levels of articulation.

Wow, sold out already. These things must be gaining in popularity. Excellent.

I don't get why they aren't doing any of the old riders or the current movie batch either. My guess is that they're just working backwards, which is fine since I think they've got all of the Hibiki characters now aside from the movie ones, so that means if there's another assortment after this one, maybe they'll have Blade characters.

Sort of odd that the upgrades seem to be missing. We don't have Den-O Climax form and no Kabuto Hyper mode. Plus, Hibiki Armed mode seems to be missing as well.
