Hi guys well it's been a while since i have completed a custom but here is my take on Shockwave.

Excuse the feet in these pics i have to use my scanner as my digital camera isn't that great and his feet got squashed so he looks a bit bo legged but isn't. Same thing happened with the cap but that is a proper balaclava under there.

Been a while since I've seen something from you. This is perfect. You really captured the look of the character. Hope to see more soon.

Thanks guys i am glad you like him!! :-D The cloth for this custom came from a pillowcase as soon as i saw it i thought shockwave but i have enough left over for a couple more figures and i thought about doing a laser viper but not sure if it is the right colour.

I have been out of customising for a bit because been buisy with work but have a little more time now so will be working on a few more. I have 4 figures on the go but they are waiting for marauder wave 4 weapons to finish them off.

Here is another pic:

The green hands will be replaced as soon as i can find some black ones in my spares.

HELL YEAH

Everything that Shockwave needs to be, he looks superb. All he really needs is a door to kick in. :-D

now how about Barricade in Scope UK style? :whistling:

Thanks night force cynic glad you like him!

I hadn't thought about a Barricade figure but i have thought about adding a few more characters and making a full SWAT team and Barricade could fit into that. I have plans for a Low Light figure to act as the SWAT teams sniper though.

my DEF team proved Barricade worked in a SWAT capacity, didn't it? I'd love to see what you'd do with Mr. Holsinger in 12" format, Scope.

Really can't wait to see Low-Light (one of my favorite Joes) in the scheme of this idea. Just be sure to give him the red goggles, okay?

Thanks HotRod! :-D

Night Force cynic i think your whole DEF team works REALLY well as a SWAT team and Barricade is definately on the to do list :-)

All my customs are 1:18th though not 12" here is a comparrison pic. doctor mind bender better watch out :-D

oh jesus... 8-O

I thought you worked in both scales (I know it was some of your textile-based removable gear that inspired X to get into it)... man, I'm a bit embarrassed but it's cool, because even more impressed with Shockwave now.

I should have shut up; your Barricade is gonna put mine to glowing shame when it's done. :shifty: Try to take awhile with it at least.

:drooling:

I was wondering if he was 1:18, glad you clarified. Love it. That is some great work on the clothes. Has he got a regular face under the mask?
