I've always been a fan of specialized squads and after seeing last months Joe Comic and the introduction of The Plague and all its members I decided my next project would be to make custom based on the bios introduced in Issue #30. At first I was going to do all these custom using New Sculpt parts but after going through my extra 25th figures I noticed that the Beachhead and Firefly Torso matched up really well to the shirt used my most of the member. So with that in mind I decided to do all my Plague members in 25th style which included re-creating Black out, Grimskull, Gallows and Guillotine with 25th body parts. I plan on doing all 13 members plus a few new ones based on other Cobra Troops but I'm waiting on some parts for most of these figures. I tried to stay as close to the comic depiction as possible but ended up making a few small changes mostly in paint schemes to change up the figures a little bit. Ill also post the bio pics I scanned from comic for those that haven't seen the bios. Im also including a pic of the 25th Cobra De Aco I put together instead of making another post just for him.

I was hoping no one would beat me to it, but you did. Those are some nice customs.

Very nice all around, crisp and clean paints.

And you made De Aco's head very shiny, so bonus points.

All look good, but Gallows looks near perfect. Great work.

These are all pretty kick-ass, Carn. I especially love how you painted the ribbing/pinstripes on the non-Beachead torsos. Took me a second to realize what you had done - you have a much steadier hand than I.

My fave is the Cobra De Aco, which is weird, because I've never given a rat's ass about foreign figures. But dang if I don't want to go out and make myself one now.

And that Hawk head works surprisingly well for Lt Bailey/Vanguard. I may have to give that a try as well.

Very Cool :D

these are awesome!! great work!

I love foreign figures ( as you can see from the comic we did here http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/phpBB2/ ... 9425#p9425 courtesy of bloodforthebaron.com )

so the cobra de aco rocks

I really think that if the GI JOE CLUB doenst do the plauge like this or foreign characters at this next convention , they are really making a big mistake

great work hope you do them all!

I like all the plague members, they are really well done. De aco looks well done but a character I don't care for at all.

I plan on making all 13 figures that had bios in AE#30 plus maybe a few more. I have 6 more pieced together and another 3 waiting on parts. I ran out of Green Stuff awhile back when I working on my Halo Warthog and just ordered some more last week so Im waiting on that to but some detail work on some of the figures, Munitia especially. Im also making a new Muntia head from scratch which is also taking longer than expected.
