I caught a Military Channel show on the USS Abraham Lincoln the other day, and was struck with how crewmen are color-coded as to their job duties.
For instance, LSOs are in white, taxi crew are yellow, mechanics brown, etc.
This got me to thinking. Right now, I have about 8 v1 mold Cutters (from both the WHALE and the NLC) with swapped heads to serve as Flagg deck crew, and a couple Shipwreck with swapped heads to be bridge crew. What LBC formulae might be cheap / easy to gather up for tehse specialties, using RAH parts (so the crew all retains a similar look. Also, using RAH vs my new sculpt Joes will help separate the Joes visibly from the background extras.)
As of right now, I'm not looking to dye figures.
Uniforms were as follows: taxi /elevator crew: yellow turtleneck, yellow PFD, BDU pants, helm and ear protection that looks a lot like the Naboo soldier helm. Airtight top, maybe, with chap mei medic vest over the rebreather? LSOs: White turtleneck or button-down shirt, white PFD, sunglasses, service dress pants. (These are Ensigns and Lieutenants): Might go with Cutters and Shippys for these. Or Chap Mei medics? Mechanics: brown turtleneck, brown PFD, BDU pants, Naboo helm.
Thanks for any suggestions in advance.
