I wouldn't worry about that. Every year, there's some major shipping company that attends these Conventions, and in my experience from those that I HAVE attended, they always do a very capable job of making sure that your stuff gets back to you in excellent condition.
The funny thing is that invariably these guys see almost no business on Friday and Saturday, wonder what the heck they're doing there, and then it's a major scramble on Sunday, they're calling in additional employees, bringing in more packaging supplies, and generally freaking out. It's pretty hysterical. Which sort of brings me to point two -- if you use them, ship EARLY!
