Woot, I found them after all! I had to leave behind SE/SS -- I'm on a strict budget this month. We'll see if I can pick that one up by month's end.

Tim, you mentioned having a warped L Leg on Wild Weasel. My WW's fine, but Ace's right leg is warped horribly inward. I'll try to get pics up after I start dinner, so maybe we can compare notes.

Another plus for WW: where Snow Job has a figure carrier, WW has a couple of MP5 ammo pouches on either side of a non-removable knife.

I can't wait to get these. For the figures AND the comics.

Maaaan... You know what this means? At the rate things are going around here, it's gonna be six months before these roll into town... :(

Pickatyours! (Edit, yes, I fail. Hit submit instead of 'add file'.)

First, the Twins.

As Tim notes, the weapons attached to the twins' legs are non-removable. Additionally, Tomax volunteered for a quick knee surgery (I unscrewed the screw) to verify that these are glued into pegs, unlike say Roadblock's pouch or Dukes holster which house the leg screw base. The shoulder armor is on a peg-hinge to the collar, and the collar and sash are removable, however.

I really like the more realistic 'grease gun' appearance of their weapons, and I like how Hasbro did the one, longer glove: the extra glove is a wristband! So, you could use extras for bare arms, /and/ have watches for Joes. :)

They are not grease guns they are the typical Cobra cartoon guns.

No scarf for Wild Weasel, alas. As Tim mentioned, his goggles come off, and the gun holster remains practical. The belts, while 'soft goods', are pegged and glued to the figure's torso. You'll have to do a little X-acto surgery to take them off -- but once off, they should be usable (if loose), on any figure.

Here's a comparison pic with Snow Job to see the difference in the left leg pouch. I checked, and again, this is glued to the leg, not held on by the leg screw.

The head's a mite small, given that this is a helmet over a head. (AVAC anyone?) I might pop off the head and helm from my WW custom, to place on this figure, or I may leave him as is. What I do like is, that without the goggles, the helm has more than a passing resemblance to a Strato-Viper's helm.

As reported, Scarface has hair! He also comes with an AK-47; better, I think, than the VvV variety, but still a pale shadow to Marauder Inc's.

Finally, the CG. I have no clue why I didn't take pics of him without his helmet. But I did take pics comparing him to the single-card CG. From a front-on angle, the sizes look pretty similar. It's only from the side that the difference is obvious.

Thanks to Timmah's heads-up, I picked my sets up tonight at the W*M on 59 & Airport here in Houston. I got dupes of the Twins and Pilots sets and they only had one of the CG & Scarface, so there's only the SS/SE sets left, unfortunately.

I like the Twins more than I thought I would. I'm still not sold on the head sculpts, but they're both quite nice figs overall. And yeah, their last name is the epitome of lame. Good thing I'm not beholden to giving a crap what the filecards say about *my* action figures.

Ace's harness is removeable along with his helmet, via two snaps under his armpits. He's got a nice leisure suit torso under there that I can see being quit useful for repainting and customizing. Weasel is an excellent example of how to do a repaint, Hasbro. He looks *nothing* like SnowJob because of the generic nature of the sculpt and the changes y'all made to it. Well done. Now use that philosophy to redo Bludd.

Oh, and I noticed they packaged the Twins with mirrored sides like their original packages had. *VERY* nice li'l touch, Hasbro. This sort of thing is very well appreciated.
