I think that the figure is completely inspired. Why couldn't Hasbro put together a figure like this?

Indeed. I thought it was one per person

Unless Mike means that someone goes and doesn't get one for themselves, and picks one up for you.

So, if you want a figure, but you can't attend - find someone that is going and doesn't want the figure. Ask them to pick it up for you.
