I bought 25A Torpedo in a little toy store yesterday.
Even if I ordered two from Smalljoes, I couldn't resist to get him right away.
He rocks! Its cool that the remake of the figure that got me into Joes in 1983 is so awesome!!

I couldn't put it down! His stand has two pegs instead of one (so does RnR) and his flippers have holes so you can pose him on his stand while he wears is flippers!

His gear is pretty cool and once I put his mask on I really felt the same way as I felt when I received my first Torpedo figure.

Rush to your retailer to get one as its one of the coolest figure!

Damn..I should've brought him to work with me....

Torpedo is simply amazing. One of my favorite anniversary figures to date...

I have to agree completely, and the 2 pegs on the stands is SOOOOOO much better.
I'll admit that the first thing I did when I got my Torpedo the other day was fill up the bath tub and played with him in the tub for about an hour and a half. Jill came in and rolled her eyes but I didnt care, I was 11 years old again for that brief moment in time. :D

Torpedo is awesome. I think he's my favorite figure in the line, so far.

I love the fact that he's loaded with gear, but you can pack it all onto his backpack. All you have to do is plug the flippers together (which takes a bit of force, but it works) then snap them into the space between the oxygen tanks on his backpack.

There's nothing bad to say about this one. The whole wave is awesome. I'll review it later.

That is a hot looking figure. Hope to get one myself soon.

Seriously, your photos sell this figure to me so much better than the official promo pix. Very dramatic.

Thanks! I'm still getting used to this new camera we got for Christmas. It's pretty awesome, but I'm pretty useless at snapping pics. Luckily I'm an old-hat at Photoshop ;)

Torpedo is seriously awesome, he's worth picking up for sure.

yeah I really like him too. I know there are a lot of Armored Cobra Commander haters, but that is a darn good made figure too in that set.

Rock and roll is kinda meh...

It's funny to hear you all say that about Torpedo (don't have yet). I felt the same way about Snow Job, back in time - best action figure ever!

Smalljoes.com for me. Looks like this wave just barely hit TRU in NY (not an unheard of first).

It'll probably be filtering through the distribution chain in the coming weeks. I'm glad I paid through the nose for the early get, though.
