Yes, but, am I the only one who found Torpedo walking everywhere in a wetsuit kind of dorky? It's always been my intention to redeco ol' Torp out in land gear once he arrived in the stores. Thanks to Target actually getting in new stock, I was able to do so.

Sadly, my first choice of outfit failed; Shipwreck's neck isn't long enough to work with Torpedo's deep-set noggin. However, Beachhead's turtleneck works fine. Plus, Rateeg did a spectacular version of Shippy in Navy blues that way, that I had to pay a meager homage. I don't plan on drybrushing the shading in, though. 1) I'm not good at it, and 2), it would look out of sync with the other figures.

I do still have to sand down the shoulders and likely the elbows. Each time, I hope that there is room for usage, and each time, I'm denied. Also, I did up the Brah's hair in a diefferent fashion, in that I tried to give him what I thought was more of a surfer's cut. Sadly, the flat black base coat hides all of the detail -- it's not even worth putting up pics of the black mass. What's a good highlight color for Torpedo? A medium brown? The anime-ish electric (dark) blue?

I'm not sure I understand when you talk about the black paint. I think your asking about the hair, right? If so, brown would work to highlight it. Blue would look too cartoonish.

The other route you could go is to put more clear coat on it so the light catches the details more.

Looks great! a suggestion for the highlights, maybe a medium grey?
or you could just give him a ha and call it good.
