I think I'm the only collector out there that likes Ace.

You guys are going to make me buy the Twins pack, aren't you? My wallet hurts.

I like Ace too but his face looks way too distorted with the helmet on.

F**k no you're not. I think the figure's friggin' awesome. They took the v1 figure's color scheme and made it work beautifully on a more realistic flight suit than that stupid-ass astro jet pilot mess than was the original Ace.

I never could stand the original figure and I always wondered if it was "LASER BLAST" just because of the mold or if the paint colors made it worse. The black on gray from 1998 was cool but still didn't work. And then lo and behold, this 25A version of Captain Armbruster proved to me that the old maroon trimmed white was okay.

I like Ace too. His helmet not too much.

I hear lots of people's Ace has a slightly bent leg. Ironically it was Wild Weasel's leg which is slightly bent in my pack.

I'm happy with Ace too, but the torso issue really kept him from being great. I don't mind a little custom work to get a figure where I want it to be, but when I'm hacking a figure in half somethings been done wrong.

I agree that the torso is too long. That's too bad, because Wild Bill will inherit the problem as well.

But even so, I love the figure. I think it's a keen update of Ace. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

I actually think the arms are too short. They are a good 3/8" shorter than the Snake Eyes/Stalker arms.

Even with whatever problems 25th Ace has, it's still lightyears better than the vintage version. I mean at least he no longer appears to be wearing bright red underwear on the outside of his flight suit. :shifty:
