I wonder what the 7th and 8th figure in the pack of 8 will be? i JUST ordered my first set from HLJ a few days ago, SERIES 3, so i don't know enough about these awesome looking figs yet.
my total from HLJ was $50 exactly (due to the rise of YEN value...it was quoted $50.83, from the day before).
Yeah, those guys on eBay charge $25 for the figures, THEN $25 for the shipping...hmmm, something is fishy about that. But it's the same price either way.

My experience with the ebay guys is that they take out the extra fig to sell seperately, thus actually making HLJ cheaper. Plus you're pretty much guaranteed to get better packaging quality.

yeah, i noticed they say 6FIGS or 7FIGS, and i thought it was a typo, until i asked one of them, and he said it was indeed just 7(not in the sealed 8pack)

What are the extra figures? any REPAINTS like Re-Ment sometimes does? or just doubles? i'm getting the 3rd series soon, so if it's just doubles, i'll be selling the extras.

You get a double if you buy the complete box of 8.
It gives you an extra figure to play with while the double remains on display :shifty:

The way they've been going, you get six regular figures and one "secret" which has been so far, one repaint, one full new sculpt, and one remold. So, who knows what this assortment's secret will be. Probably another remold of one of the Hibiki guys. I figure Kiva's other forms will get regular releases, so it won't be Garuru or Doga forms. My money is on it being one of the other Hibiki guys or one of Kiva's monster buddies. Probably the werewolf.

And now that I've seen him, I'm really hoping Rider Ixa is in the next assortment. Kiva needs his nemesis. Not sure if this link will work, but here's a pic of the Ixa.

okay guys, MRS Rider series 5 has been announced and you're going to love the lineup.
-Kiva Garuru Form (werewolf styled sword form)
-Kiva Dogga Form (Frankenstein styled hammer form)
-Ixa Saber Mode
-Ixa Burst Mode(both Ixa's modes are in the link in my previous post)
-Kamen Rider 2 The Next styled(YEAH! I think it is actually both 1&2 in this wave. The listing isn't too clear to me)
-Kamen Rider V3 The Next style (Hardcore old school! )

The inclusion of The Next figures and Ixa in this wave makes this possibly my favorite of them all. This wave will be out in July. No preorder on HLJ yet though.

Raidaaaaaaaaa raidaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

This is incredible!! July here we come!!!
As soon as I spot them on hlj, I'm pre ordering!
This will be a great wave!

If they do Rider 2 its easy to do Rider one making it the most accepted repaint ever hahaha!
If they do Ichigo, that makes a total of 7 figures, so they already revealed the secret figure?

Thanks for the scoop!

they could seriously take forever doing just Ryuki! And with DRAGON KNIGHTS coming to the USA this Fall, that might be a smart move, since they KNOW there's now an international market of us buying from HLJ and eBAy.

Well, technically they already did Ryuhki and Knight, but I wouldn't mind seeing them redone. Faiz too.

Ryuki, Knight, Blade and Faiz were already made in the MRS style as well.

Aha! I thought those were some all plastic ones. Mine have circular holes on the front of the knees for attaching armor, I thought they all had that.
I found them rather easily, they just cost MUCH more than these figures. The cheapest ones i found were thru my comic book shop via the PREVIEWS catalogue. Those were $7.99, 9.99, and $14.99 for the one with dragon parts. i didn't want the parts, but it was still cheaper than ones on ebay that were $20-$35 each.

Well, I did some sleuthing this morning hoping to find some newer images of the Monster Hunter figures or series 5, but instead I found out who the secret figure is for wave 4. It turns out he was photographed in the early solicitation images of the prototypes that I posted the pic of back in page 7. That's him in the right hand corner. Its Sabaki, from Hibiki. I figured it'd be another Oni. So, that makes four Oni in wave 4. Guess we aren't getting Hibiki's upgrades or any of the other secondary Oni or the Oni from the movie.
