Keep in mind that this is still badly distorted but it shows the shape of the shadow a lot better. Yay Armor Tech?

Beat me to it, beav. I was going to point out the Pulverizer possibility.

I like Gristle. It's just a repaint, but a nicely-done one. If the rest of his troops match his color scheme, it could be pretty good.

Gristle was made relevant with this figure. It's a nice color scheme on a mold that was screaming for a repaint. Plus, with the appearance of the original mold, it makes my theory that they found the molds for both the HH and HHST that much more plausible.

The Mech shadow doesn't do anything for me. Frankly, if the BATS are done like that, it might sink the set for me. I'm not into the anime stuff with Joe. If it's just a mech that's the attendee exclusive, that's cool. But, I don't want them in the figure set. (Though, if it does happen, you have to give credit to the club for creating an all new figure mold....)

I'm awaiting the rest of the set, but this is a good first step. Last year's set was a highwater mark. So far, no letdowns.

Well, given they are giving us "Rise of the Robots" Cobra Commander as the exclusive figure this year I wouldn't doubt they used more of what might exist.

Speaking of Munitia. Just where *is* that DTC wave that they were going to release?
