I've been on a bit of a NS kick lately. I was looking at my pile o'parts and wondered what I could possibly do with the strangely padded Dusty chest. There is no Action Force Blades figure in my collection, so I figured I'd make a custom version.

The padding on the Dusty chest is very different from that of the Tripwire/Blades chest, but it keeps it from looking like a Tripwire repaint.

The head was the only part that took much work. It's a single pack NS Stalker head. The beret is obviously gone. I reworked the goatee to make it a bit more dramatic, but not too crazy. Somewhere between Simon Pegg's goatee in Shawn of the Dead and the exaggerated one usually drawn on Green Arrow. I also built a thick collar around the original chicken neck.

The color scheme is pretty much a straightforward swipe from the Blades figure. I didn't really know what to do with that milk saucer on the front of the armor, so I just put the visor blue on it.

If only I knew how to make/apply an SAS decal. That would really complete the figure.

That blend of parts makes for a pretty cool figure.

That looks really nice, PN. Man, now you have me thinking of adding more Action Force, and I haven't even shot my introduction of Comandos de Acao yet. :)
