Great job, DH!

The Apprentice is my fave SW fig to come out in years -- I need to fix mine as well, since the only thing keeping him from perfection are those damn hips.

He goes into the "fix it" pile along with my Vos figure :D

My issue with the original figure posted is the torso line. While I commend your use of parts and adding the articulation I just don't like the look of the adomin. It seems too barrel like to me.

By the way your Jedis (in the group photo) stomp the crap out of the Hasbro productions.

What if you used Microman legs instead. You would have had the Joe style thighs, but you would have also had the Microman double jointed knees to work with. You should be able to get the lower legs you have here to work with that knee joint. That would give you the articulation you want without the awkward looking knees when bent.

Hmmm... not a bad idea. I just saw the fodder thighs and went with them. Using MM legs would really be cost prohibitive imo. Plus the lack of detail might be an issue. If I had to sculpt all over them and graft the lower legs on, I risk losing play value/ durability (sculpting on the rubbery SW plastic is never a good idea :-) )

I was playing with the figure earlier and posed the knee in the way I mentioned to Dave earlier in the thread. It looks identical to the original figure. I'll take a pic and a bit. ;-)

Nice to see that I am not the only one that do custom that must be playable. All my custom must be playable :-P
