I owe this custom to Kambei and Chief.
I still have to make the helmet. And I'm not sure about the sword.
First the custom, then the Inspiration pic . . .

Here are a few more of the head. It took about 45 minutes to dremel and sand the SHS Colossus head.

Nice work so far bro.

Chrome that head up and it would make a sweet Destro too.

Really cool John! Love the use of Collosus for him, it works perfectly, esp the head.

Thanks. I'll have to try to get some better pics once I get the helmet sorted. IMO he looks better in person.

Really nice work. Good parts choice with the Colossus figure. Great paint job, it is looking tight.

Good luck with the helmet. It isn't the esaiest one to do.

Are you going to do Bug to go with him? Even big, bad Acroyears get lonely :-D

Thanks for the comments.
Kambei, I've actually tackled Bug already- this was August of '05.

Great work on those figures. I remember seeing them a while ago, but I had forgotten who did them :-(

Are you going to do any group shots?

I no longer own those figures. I may look to make new ones now though.

Here's the helmet. I'm VERY proud of how it turned out.

Very cool job on the helmet John. How'd you make it?

Thanks, Dave. It's a Big Boa helmet (well, once I dremeled it it was a helmet). I used 1/8" plexi for the "ears" (which were taken from the Marvel pic seen above. I glued the pic to the Plexi then cut and dremeled). Then I extended the jaw of the mask, since the Boa helmet fell a tad short.
I may cast this helmet. I've also offered it to Dave (GTG) for casting as well.
