Some Dreadnoks vehicles came in light / darkgreen and black (Swamp Skier, Swampfire and Ground Assault).
Others came in blue and red (Thunder Machine, Air Assault).
Personally, I think the Swamp Skier looks good in that scheme, but for the others I prefer the blue / red.

What do you guys think are the Dreadnoks' colours? Assuming nobody likes the convention purple / blue........ :shifty:

good question. My favourite Dreadnok vehicle is their Trike and that was red/blue/green (with purple gun!) but as a set I love the ground assualt deco. Still I'd have to stick with the red/blue/green combo of the Trike because it looked like a scrap-heap redux that the 'noks would be capable of producing.

I can't see Thrasher or any of the others maticulously spray painting the ground assault stuff to match.

I don't see them as being organized enough to have 'colors'. They might have 'a' color they like to wear, like Crips or Bloods; but I don't think it's something they're concerned enough with to care what color their vehicles are. I think they pretty much let their vehicles be whatever color their scavenged parts make them.

I asked Ripper what the Dreadnok colors were.

He answered, "Colors? COLORS? We only gots one color in the Dreadnoks - red! Like your blood! HA!"

I decided a quick exit was in order and didn't stay around to question the other Noks...

I always took that mixure (red, blue, or Greens of light and dark, or black) to mean the dreads kind of peicemieled things (ie the colors were from junked parts, I got that from a commercial for the thunder machine).

Of course the greens did originate from Zartans swamp skier, which could explain those colors themselves.

But one thing that thought process made some fixes easier, I got the Ground Assualt set with one door missing from the "stinger" so I put an extra door I had lying around left over from a custom and never bothered to paint it the proper color. Honestly I don't think its really an issue dispite the difference from the rest of the vehichle.

Still with the Zartan reference, I would lean to Red and blue since it could be explained the Greens were actually Zartan.

They aren't that organized indeed. But, just like a motorgang, they have a logo. Most of those "gangs" have something recognizable, like a the black leather jacket or bandana. I do like the figures with their diversity of colours and clothes, it kinda emphasizes their "outcast"-status.
For the vehicles (except the Swamp Skier), I like them best with at least some red and blue to be recognized as a Dreadnok vehicle.

They do wear mainly purples and different greens in my verse, even if it is only a patch on jeans, a bandana, etc. So that a 'nok knows who is a 'nok and who isn't.

My Dreadnok's vehicles are all like the Swampfire/chameleon, with the exception of thier off road motorcycles which are purple with flames on the gas tank as seen in various episodes of the cartoon.... oddly enough I've been slowly gathering parts for another complete thunder machine to re-do in "Dreadnok" colors like the Swampfire.
