So I check my e-mail account this morning to do my daily spam deletion and I have an order cancellation from Hasbro. I had ordered Armored CC & Torpedo at the beginning of the month and I had expected it to ship the first full week in May.

According to the e-mail, my order was cancelled because I did not respond to the information requested. Well, I never received any such e-mail. SO I called customer service to find out what happened. Apparently there was some information needed for my credit card and now the product was out of stock. And I could purchase from another website such as Amazon.com.


Well never having receieved any e-mail, I told the customer service agent that I hope this lack of communication was not par for the course and that I'll just wait and get the items in the future.

My wife is starting to complain that I have a lot of toys, maybe this is a sign for me to scale back. But boy is it annoying to find out I had my ordered cancelled. Customer service was polite as was I, but I fail to see where I was serviced as a customer. I kinda feel like I was told "You're hosed, have a nice day."

Reminds me of the headache caused by the Kaybee exclusive HISS/ASP set from about five years ago.

It is absolutely ridiculous that the manufacturer can't supply its own "store" with enough merchandise.

They did the samt thing to me with their SW Darktrooper figure, and said they couldn't replace my order, because they weren't getting any more.
Two weeks later...BAM... there it was back on their site. I ordered it and got it a week later. So don't give up hope.

I almost experienced this.

I checked my mail in time. The email basically says they need more information cause of some credit card error. I had to call them before this date or you'll lose your order.

I had this happen to me too. I recently moved so my CC info didnt match my shipping info. I got the email from HTS and I took the proactive approach and I CALLED THEM. I gave them all my info, confirmed everything and was set to get my order, or so I thought. The next day they called me to update my info, I said I had already done it and for them to check their computer, they said everything was fine. Sure enough, 3 days go by and I get a cancellation notice, I was steamed. Apparently the cute sounding female didnt update a darn thing and/or HTS has zero internal communication.

Since then I havnt called to change any info, but I did place another order for something else which I received just fine. So they pretty much just screwed me over on the other order.

same thing happened to me, and i lost a pile of the clearance comic packs, only to have them all gone by the time i got the snafu figured out.

Same thing happened to me with McQuarrie Luke Skywalker. Sometihng about my credit card info was missisng and if I didn't call within a certain amount of time, Hasbro was going to cancel my order, luckily I was online when the email came and I immidiately called them and got it all straightened out.
