As always, good writing.
I had two problems with this figure:
01. The face looked nothing like the somewhat goony face of the original. While the face for the newer Dusty was more normal looking in its appearance, I've always believed that it's okay to throw a few "real" faces into the mix. Not everyone on the street looks beautiful, and that should be represented in a toy line.
02. The beret falls on the wrong side of the face. How hard was that for someone to notice during the design phase of the figure? "Hey, Gary, that should go the
other way!" I was recently watching a Military Channel or History Channel program about the French Foreign Legion. They apparently wear berets which drape to the person's left side of the face. So, if nothing else, there's an excuse to make a custom.
Aside from the arms and beret, everything on this figure was really nice.
