After making Blades and Skip, Jammer is the next AF figure to get a custom.

The original Jammer figure is a repaint of the '82/'83 Stalker, with a red beret, slightly different colors, and an Action Force logo in the center of the chest. My goal was to make a figure that didn't look like a Stalker repaint.

Parts:

Head: '86 Dialtone (modified)
Chest: '87 Tunnel Rat
Arms: Blizzard
Waist: Lt. Falcon
Legs: Big Ben

Sculpting:

I sculpted an earpiece/microphone on the Dialtone head. I also gave it a bit of "liposuction" with a dremmel tool under the chin and jaw to make it less gooey in appearance.

The TR is a very recognizable and iconic look, which I wanted to downplay. I removed the holster and replaced it with a row of pouches. I also sculpted on the tail of the neckerchief that drapes over the top pouch.

Colors:

I was originally going to go with a camo pattern similar to the one I used on Skip. After realizing that would look very much like Stalker, I went with a straight green instead.

Like Blades and Skip, I put a light blue on both the head (beret patch) and chest (neckerchief).

Because Jammer is a communications guy, I used an apple green on the microphone and all of the mystery things that could pass for communications gear (thing on upper right arm, thing on lower left arm).

Thanks to Jamar Miller for helping me out with images to get me started on my AF customs.

I like it. Especially the use of that head - it took me a second before I could place it. Good idea switching the skin color there. Normally he would be a bit too green for my taastes, but knowing this is for an Action Force character, I can let that slide. ;) Nice job with the sculpting too. I really like the colors you used on the head though. Sort of a refreshing combination.

Now I have to go look up your others that you mentioned!

:D
