Bah. People can say they disliked him all they want. I liked Big Lobb. (two 'b's? Really?)

Big Lob was awesome. Sure he was goofy, but he was fun.

If you don't want a Big Lob action figure you're someone who doesn't want a Big Lob action figure.

There, I said it :shifty:

I'm down for a somthing new. I just know you all are would rather have 5 more versions of Snakeyes , just as many Stormshadows. It realy is a crime that Pythonia and BigLob were never made. 2 pack with Bet and DVD.

Maybe I'm getting older and going soft, but I don't hate Big Lob as much as I used to.

He's still an absurd pandering cliche of a character, but no more so than some who came before and after him. As a kid, I thought he was a complete waste (along with a lot of Sunbow TV concepts and 90% of the Movie), but now I lump him into the same category as other Joe-Jocks like Bazooka, Hardball, Capt. Grid-Iron, Frag Viper, and the Fridge. Visually, he's no more idiotic than they are. It's really his dialogue and basketball obsession (as showcased in the movie) that ruin him. If you take him just on his looks, he's no better or worse than Bazooka, who's getting a bright red-jersied figure that a lot of folks are swooning over. Slap a bandolier on Bazooka and you've basically got the same look as Big Lob, without the ethnic stereotyping and the warm and fuzzy fan love.

I never went out of my way to get the sports guys when I was a kid, and won't do so now, but if a Big Lob came along in a set, I'd find a way to accept him, just as I did Link Talbot (who would have worked a lot better with some real pants).

Okay so hey would be a great addition to Joe if, and only if, he has a basketball on a stick.

Yes, we should definitely have a Big Lob figure.

I really don't agree with the release of that upcoming 25th Specialist Trakker figure. That is a utter waste of a release slot for a pre-existing character.

It is almost like they are saying - "Forget about a release of <insert your fav character here> who never got a figure like Billy. But wait! Let's include a figure from another toy line which has nothing to do with GI Joe."

Don't get me wrong. I loved MASK but is it too much to ask that Hasbro release a dedicated MASK toy line and keep it separate from Joe?

Don't get me wrong.... I'd rather Big Lob than Billy.... Hell, I'd even rather Matt Tracker than freaking Billy...

Just sayin'... that's how much I hate Billy.

:D

L,

That's cool. You can hate Billy all you want but that gives them no excuse to mash up two separate toy lines. That is just ridiculous.

I voted yes.

He's apart of the mythos, so why not? Big Brawler got multiple figures.

If I had to choose, though, I'd take Pythona over him.
