SHS Dick Giordano Batman

I'm taking a break from Joe customs for awhile so I turned my creative juices to super heroes.

Being a child of the 70's the batman I remember most from the comics was Dick Giordano's version. I tried to capture that look and think I came pretty darn close. What do you guys think?

And here is a pic of Batman and Nightwing (non Giordano version)

Honestly, one of the best Batman customs I've seen. And Nightwing is right up there too.

Very awesome styling of him. I remember the look back then.

Only thing I see is a little bit of paintrubs, but beyond that looks great. :-P

I've always had a soft spot for this version of Batman, although the Neal Adams style and stories. I like the cape you used here a lot. You might want to go back with some grey paint to do some touch up work. Overall you hit this one out of the park.

both are great TC, I like seeing more Super heroes too, eventhough I still like the 25th customs too. Keep up showing some more superheroes please.

It's been a while since I've seen a SHS custom not in a NJC contest. Outstanding work, my friend. Other than the minor paint touch-ups as before mentioned, this custom is flawless. Did you use a decal-maker for the emblem? I painted the one on mine a long while back, and it sucked major bootae! Gotta share some TC secrets.

Just printed out an emblem I found online, cut it out and used model car window glue to paste it on his chest. Super easy

These look great TC. I have had a lot of luck dyeing the SHS stuff (Daredevil, Magneto, Cyclops, Thor) black and then painting the more accessable spots.
