They put up Gristle's filecard today. Not bad, though it does seem we are not getting a Headman (which is a good thing!)

I like that they tied his alias into the South American release of the Headhunter mold (Brutus) & the Gristle mold (Vandalo).

so instead of making and trafficking narcotics, the Headhunters are creating weapons for Cobra?

They just smuggle stuff for the weapons, not make them.

Doesn't matter what they do, they're bad guys! Now go fight them! ;-)

Smuggling is a crucial aspect of the drug operation, they just happen to have taken out the drug portion. Who knows, maybe they do still run drugs among other things.

Awesome back story. Making him someone who expanded the headhunters into more than mere drug pushers is great stuff.

Positives
Like the aliases.

Negatives
Apparently no Headman. BOOO! Why bother to call them Headhunters then?

Why no drugs? I know it's too taboo for Hasbro to touch these days, but you'd think the bio for "Adult Collectibles Not Intended For Children Under 12" could have the Headhunters running cocaine out of South America where they've been hiding.

Overall kinda generic.

yeah, they could've gotten away with watering that down at least but no, they crapped out, and it was lame.

You guys forget that originally COBRA Commander severed ties with the Headhunters because of their drug operations. If the Headhunters are now working WITH them, they have to write out the drug tie-ins to make it plausible.

Don't really get what the big deal is. *shrug*

When they say Gristle doesn't want to suffer the same fate as his predecessor, does that mean MC sets follow DiC cartoon canon?

I thought it was in the comic where Headman got blasted?

Not in Marvel. He may have been one of the characters Devil's Due killed on in a list, but he definitely survived his two (three?) Marvel appearances. DiC, however, had him in his drug factory exploded, overdosing as he was crushed by debris.
