What you guys think?

Meh, if the movies didn't do it (from Christians or Hindus), I don't see why the toyline would. I think the crux is that the flicks are pretty respectful of God's power.

Let's steer clear of further speculation about religous backlash from the movie or the toys. Remember, we don't talk real-world religion or politics on the board.

I'll have to pick up the Ark at some point just because it seems like a cartoon plot for Cobra to steal the Ark. Would be sort of cool to set up a Cobra treasure room and to have the artifacts from the Indiana Jones line sitting in the room.

You mispelled "Mod". You know, the people who enforce our rules. If you do not *like* our rules, you can post elsewhere. Official warning issued to move you along on that path if you continue acting in this manner.

I found Raiders single figures and vehicles at K Mart of all places. My K Mart has almost no toys at all. I snagged the German truck!

I CANNOT find the Ark of the Covenant set (which is the only one of the deluxe sets I actually want). I've found everything else, but I think I'll find the actual Ark of the Covenant before I locate this set.

I finally found the Raiders deluxe packs today in Target. I just grabbed a German soldier pack and Indy with Ark. The Indy/Ark is just pure awesomeness. The Ark is one of the coolest action figure accessories ever, and the Indy is just about perfect, especially with the soft goods robe.

I cannot find the Indy with the horse or the German Soldier and motorcycle anywhere. Are these packaged in the "deluxe" 2 packs or are these a diffrent price point? Just wondering what to keep an eye out for.

They're packaged as deluxe figures, but they're not in the same assortment as the Ark set, Germans, and Marion. They're in their own assortment with the temple trap deluxe sets.

Got my German trucks in the mail the other day.

Words can not express how cool these things are! Mundo's pictures come close, but they are cooler still in person!

Right now I have one truck on the included backdrop / diorama, loaded with the "crates" that come with the truck and figures, with two Germans in the cab, and Indy on the horse racing up next to it.

These figures are just too cool!

Anyone seen any cool dioramas or collections of these figures on the web yet?

Perhaps Shockwave Viper will post some pics. I'd say that he has a huge army of German soldiers by now. :)
