Summary
SPIRITS, Special Projects Initiative: Research, Implementation, and Tactics, is GI Joe's paranormal division. From ghost hunters to UFO spotters, psychics to cyborgs, and everything in between, SPIRITS attempts to investigate esoteric threats to national security, and, when possible, utilize their findings in new battlefield applications.
CORPSE, Cobra Occult Research & Paranormal Supremacy Endeavor, marks the global terrorists organization's increased interest in and use of unconventional technologies and fringe sciences. And this is a group that has ALREADY integrated thought control, advanced cloning, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, and bioweapons into their arsenal.
