That is exactly what they did. Plus it was/is the delay for the FSS.
Could it be that whoever they hired to set it up stole the info? :-/

In any case I canceled the card I used there. I bought 2x Dr. Venom sets in December. I had my bank print out my most recent statement & luckily I wasn't hit. I used a debit card too. I don't know how fraud on those would be handled.

Yes they did....... 3 or 4 weeks after they already had info that pointed to a breach. Should have been done immediately, not a month later

FYI, there is a report/rumor out on twitter that TF logins were also compromised. So if you have a GIJCC forum login you should change the password now too.

I just tried and the update account has nowhere to change the password

interestingly enough..I looked at the address and it's the old address...I have been getting the newsletter to my new address...something isn't right

Yeah. There's no way I see to change account info, unless you go into the forum, and I changed my password, clicked save and logged out. I tried signing in on the main page with the old password, and it worked, so apparently they aren't linked. Yay. And it's not like I can change my e-mail address to something else...I only have the one. You know, that I use for EVERYTHING. Is any other company this stupid?

I changed all my personal info. to invalid garbage.

I assume it's like shutting the barn door after the cows escaped, and probably f'd up my newsletter subscription & membership figure ... but I have to do something, right?

I've tried this. But I can't get into the forum now, as it says my username is already in use. No duh. I just did used it--apparently now they can't sign me out. So I can't change my info on the forum, and changing my password doesn't work at all now, apparently. And it doesn't let you change your last name, either.

Too bad no one around here lives in the Dallas metro area and can be interviewed by the news station there... I sent this as a news story to one of the stations there and they said IF they did the story would I be willing to go on camera..... :lol:

But the news station did say it'd look into it..
