Knowing John i will love anything that he does next.

The only way John can do new stuff is to pay off his existing waves though. With the economic climate the way it is i would prefer marauder to consolidate for this year and bring something out next year rather then stretching himself too far and not being able to do anything else.

I LOVE the modular components that he does but I think it may be an idea to make things like machine guns, pistols, sniper rifles and accessories that can be done in one peace and do not need complex engineering. so that the cost of production is kept to a minimum for both him and his customers.

Having said that John if you have any plans to release anything this year i will buy!!

BBI had one like that in one of their accessory sets a while back. You can't find that set on ebay for ANYTHING now adays. the NCM and a lot of other weapons fit beautifully in them. If MJ could make one sort of like it with the racks like BBI had them then it'll be

I must've really lucked out. About 2 years back, a seller on eBay was selling a small lot of weapons and I scored 10+ cases in that auction for less than $10 shipped

I have that case too. I actually sent it over to Dave at what was then GTG to clone, because bbi apparently stopped making them. But I think it never went into production because of copy-right type stuff. The only reason I got it is because I wrote to bbi trying to find that set, along with the G36 and XM8 sets, and because they were still advertising it on their website. They had one in the their US office and sold it to me. No joy on the G36 and XM8 sets (but those I found the one week they were available at TRU )
That's why I hope MJ revisits the XM8 and G36 series, so that he can make them modular.

Yah, I've got one of those cases, but I'm talkin' more about the single/double rifle cases. The MJ custom that TR1ER did up has the type of case I'm thinking of: http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/customs_specific_item.php?kind=figure&alpha=M&id=5706 It's flatter than that BBI one. And I wasn't that impressed with the BBI case...maybe it's just the one I have, but the lid doesn't close right.

I'd still like to see a solid stock version of the older style M14. They did make solid stocked, pistol gripped versions. I believe it was the E2 variant. (might have mentioned it in this thread already, I don't remember)

Have I mentioned derringers yet? Can I mention them again, if I have? Perfect hold out/back up weapon for any fig.

issue is: how would you make them? they would be almost unusably small... Its one of the reasons why I didnt request .22 or .25 pistols.

The handles would have to have some adjustment made, unless they were just meant to be detail peices. Single barrelled darringers for figs with smaller hands, and double barreled ones made for figs with more open grips.

Speaking of revolvers, I could sure use a Marauder made .38 for my Indiana Jones figure.

Double headed battle axes, war hammers, maybe some hi-tech melee weapons, ie plasma swords/blades, "lightsabre" like. The weapon, not sure of the name (then again look at all my nominations), ninja like claws which attach to the wrist of the figure, maybe different types of blades as well( hooked, regular, serrated, energy, anything else I am missing)


I know those would be a pain, but here is a real pain I am sure, a gun like, I believe, Repeater had. That machine gun which needed to be attached to the gunners waist. That thing was sweet, not too mention the guy from the original Predator with that gun.

Nows that I have jawed on long enough, till the next ideas.

Not sure if thess have ever been mentioned but I would like to see:

-80s style Warsaw Pact land mines/explosive devices Tripwire, Lightfoot, and Tunnel Rat need something to dispose of. Could be generic enough to cover other foreign made devices-just want something other than 'Made in the USA'/USA identifiable.

-WWII US Military style Flamethrowers I know there used to be a line at Wal-Mart that had one, but I haven't seen anything on the market for some time. These would be perfect for the 1982/1983 Cobra Soldier to use, or for the Dreadnoks to use after raiding a supply depot, or for anyone wanting to have a 'GTA' type of character.

-Satellite Telecommunications Dish This is like any of the umbrella style ones that pop open. Could be very simply done: start with a base and a support rod that fits into a small square box of plastic at a 45 degree angle (into one of the box sides). On the opposite box side is a small cone. On the other four sides are panels that open up.

-Extendable batons These are the small batons that are worn in a pouch on the hip. When needed, they spring out to their full length for defensive/offensive purposes. Obviously there is no way to make a spring that small-I'm talking three options: molded pouch, loose unopened (like a lightsaber hilt), and an open fully extended one (like a lit lightsaber). I've considered taking one of the extra lightsabers I have and cutting various thicknesses into the length to make my own. The end product would look similar to the toy lightsabers on the shelves now that extend when you push the button.

-various Entrenching Tools These could be a molded pouch to add to a pack or webbing, or in the open position.

-various MediaThis includes JOE scale CDs, DVDs, the big clunky videotape (like the Defiant Black Box 'MacGuffin' that started the Cobra Civil War)-used by local news stations, VHS tapes, etc. DVD cases could double as game cases.

-Various Dio set piecesCivilian radios, TVs, coffee machines, water coolers, filing cabinets, desk lights, fax machines, fans, open boxes of chocolate covered donuts, soda packs, etc.
