F4 Phantom II: Either an early model with a removeable hardpoint mounted cannon, or a later model, with the gun built in. I don't remember which two companies were involved, but one of them had begun tooling, and had an early prototype on display, and the other popped up claiming they had one in the works that would have more features, and cost less. Neither company ever produced one. Even Joescale one, instead of true 1/18 woukd be fine.

Joe specific, give me a Pythona figure. How about Golobulus, with a poseable tail?

Admiral has it tooled.

21st cock-blocked them though, so they back-burnered it. With the way things are now i wouldn't expect a 1:18 Phantom, from anyone.

Something they haven't nailed successfully yet, but Blue Box toys did..a nice, nuclear class submarine. Give it moveable vanes too, so you can bury it in the snow for a great arctic breach shot.

A truer to real life than the CORPS Version Fire truck.... I know I know no one else would care but a nice Engine, Ladder and Rescue truck. I would even settle for a cop-out brush truck using Humvee tooling....
Not to mention fire fighter characters to ride them. I have stretched out Joe mythos to find four (BBQ, Blastoff, Inferno (S6) and Inferno (COPS) who I call Back draft). Just a driver needed.

-1:18 (3 3/4") scale Colonial Viper (classic style)

-1:18 (3 3/4") scale Colonial Marine UD4L Cheyenne DropShip
-1:18 (3 3/4") scale Colonial Marine M577 A.P.C
-1:18 (3 3/4") scale J-5000 Power Loader

The DropShip and A.P.C. would need to be "Joe Scaled" to make them more feasible, and cost effective, than true 1:18 scale would be. It is very much possible, though, to shrink them a little, but maintain all of their functions and features, at a reasonable price point.

The Viper wouldn't need shrunken down at all. They were fairly small ships. Smaller than an X-Wing.

Yeah, those things weren't much more than a cockpit, with three engines shoved up its ass, and some guns stuck on, wherever they could find room. The nose section was just there to look cool.

I would love one of those, in 1/18 scale. I might even be able to tolerate a Mk2, from the current BSG soap opera.

I can't believe no one has said a Hind or Bell 222 yet . . . I'd also like to see a Boeing Bird of Prey.

I have to agree with an old school Viper and Colonial Marine APC.

Another cool ship would be the Hammerhead from Space: Above and Beyond.

On the possibility of a GI Joe C-130; what if they combined elements of a C-130 with another, smaller airframe? Take a look at this C-123 Provider below:

You could take the iconic nosecone and cockpit from a C-130, and maybe also the look of the engines. See below:

The combined elements would have the look of a C-130, be able to carry vehicles and mounted weapons, but would have a much smaller wingspan and be more affordable.

There's a site that sells those two that if you can figure out how to strengthen them up some would be great in 1:18th scale. They are remote helicopters but I and Chief have one that I prefabbed just cardboard but a cockpit and computer section and the New sculpt figs fit just fine in it. They also have the Hind available as well that with a little work would work great as well. With a Dragonfly cockpit seats and them some seats from the Tomahawk it could make a nice Hind.
Also figured I'd post that link with pics of the 1/18th scaled flying model Hind. http://www.mmanrow.20m.com/gallery.htm over at http://www.mmanrow.20m.com/ .
Same company makes the Bell 222, a Jetranger, Huey just to name a few. Here's some pics of the Bell 222.

???????

In joe scale?

Yep!!

I did some work on a few customs for Centurions, ironically, using ARAH Ace as a base figure since he was sooo plenitful at the Family Dollars. Felt like I could have some fun by taking a cue from the BTR line and adding more lego pieces to their chests to simulate the exo-frames the Centurions use. w/ the right Lego parts it actually doesn't suck so bad, if you use some imagination and just have fun with it. But that Wild Weasel unit for Jake is a pain and and a half to put together....

Oh, and my votes for new vehicles/sets/figures:

--- Cobra's helicarrier
--- Cobra's red-headed transport jet (w/ the opening mouth)
--- Mind-control headband accessories or swappable heads, or new figures
--- Selena and Romar (the village people from Mass Device)
--- Cobra Mountaintop Fortress playset (kinda like the antithesis to Joe HQ but not the terrordrome)
--- Yellow and black suit Joe divers (or have we had those?)
--- Master Chief from Halo in Joe size/form (as a Joe Merc)
--- Blackwater Prison
--- the B.E.T.

could go on and on....

I've actually got Ace,Max,and Jake pieced together now using the BTR parts. I'm thinking BTR+Spytroops armor+some custom pegged pieces I may be able to get something going. I got the basics for the figures figured out but designing the weapons systems is going to be the tricky part. Ace and Max aren't too awful hard since wings and fins can fit pretty easily but making rolling weapons for Jake is a bit tedious.
