Hulk hands are a good move and they look more durable. The real issue is the way they packed them before. Working at KB, we'd always have to get onto the teenagers. If you didn't keep an eye out, they'd have 2 pair and cut the plastic deal that held them together, fighting in the aisles.

Oh and the Helicarrier looks better. Maybe it's the fisheye lenses but it looks bigger.

Isn't it supposed to be like 3 feet long or something? That's pretty substantial. I think seeing it in proportion to actual figures and stuff without the white press kit background will help it look better. At least I hope so because I kinda want one.

Still looks too small for 1/18 scale.
It just looks like a flying platform compared to the figures.
Maybe MASK scale figures would look better on it?

Saw what I assume is wave one at TRU. Kinda bland. Ultimate Thor is the best of the bunch, but at $9.99, they all stayed at the store. Way too expensive, especially since I can turn around and buy the same character for $2-3 cheaper from a different line, at the same store, even.

Saw the Quinjet at TRU tonight. It does look cool, but not $35 cool.

I know I said earlier I wasn't in on anything til Black Widow and Hawkeye, but I was bored and I caved. Nabbed Hulk - something about the sculpt appeals to me, though I know he's getting mixed reviews. Maybe I'm seeing a custom in him that just hasn't declared itself yet. Also nabbed movie Cap. Why? How the hell should I know. I do know that with owning so many other Cap figures now, it seemed silly to not own the modern one that appealed to me most. And last I got the comic series Thor. I see lots of potential with that one.

Pics alongside Joes and existing MU figures or it never happened (I need size references, dammit!)

You should know better ;-)

So you got the Avengers movie version with the mask/helmet and the shield launching thingy? If so that is one I plan on getting too. How is his articulation? The pictures I've seen makes it look like he doesn't have wrist or ankle articulation.

That's about all I was considering is movie Cap. Not really interested in the rest. I might get Hulk but I want to see him in person. Same with the new Iron Man but I'm doubting I will care with that one. Hawkeye and Black Widow will probably end it for me. The vehicles will have to go on sale or get marked down.

That Hulk might work as a Grundy custom.
Quinjet not $35 TRU bucks cool but how about Walmart or Target prices?

Goldbug, I thought of Grundy too.

I'm off to open packages and take some pics. Updates coming.
