To use a credit card, I'd rather withdraw the money from the card, put it in my account, and send them a check. I really do not want to have to give them a card now. Maybe make sure I have cash at the con too.

In all seriousness, Pete was on TF2500 site and got called out by someone on Hisstank about not posting there for over 2 weeks, he came over and Q&A began yesterday.

May as well have not come cause every question he was like "Sorry can't talk about it" I mean simple things like "Has Law Enforcement gotten invovled"

He was asked if there were plans to compensate members, he said "Yes there are" and later when someone asked how to ensure they were part of the compensated crowd he had to be show a screen capture of the answer to remember it, and then said "OH I was meaning we discussed it, and there were ideas not that we were actually doing something."

I asked him point blank about the "hard date" here is the exchange PS I had to ask 3 times as he would ignore the question and give non-answers to other questions:

ME:

Quote:
Why was the date for the Footloose figure a "Hard Date" and no conseration was given to moving the date back.

Also if there was a reason the date was a "Hard Date" why wasn't that explained in the E-mail about it.

:PETE:

Quote:
Due to the way everything is set up, we do not have the option of moving the date.

However, we are working with members best we can. If you have a concern it is best to email us.

Of course, if you are a U.S. member and paying via a check, and timing is an issue, one option is to post date the check for March 16th if you need time for the funds to clear.

Again, we are working with anyone that contacts us during these difficult circumstances.

ME:

Quote:
That is a bit vauge, I mean what about "how everything was set up" was inflexable, I think a clear answer would translate well here cause the Footloose e-mail really came across poorly and in many ways felt like a "give us money anyway" kind of statement.

Pete:

Quote:
I can't go in to all of our internal operational procedures. If we could have moved the deadline, we would have. It is not an option, internally OR externally. We are however working with anyone that contacts us so everyone that wants to be a member by March 16th can be.

If you personally have an issue with renewing, please contact us.

Even giving them an out they can't understand people's frustration with that e-mail, and on top of that ingored the sentiment and acted like it was about the money-It''s thier damned attude that I was referring to, why do I bother.

The thread is loaded with all kinds of stuff but essentally he deflected any and all customer service questions or suggestions. Apparently they still haven't learned thier lession.
