I dunno...maybe that Range-Viper head and the Barricade body works okay for a "Stormtrooper" type of thing. It's possible that they just didn't have all of the accessories and everything all together for the pic before the page got leaked...

This could be real after all.

What the "LASER BLAST"... It sure better be a joke!

If this is a real figure, maybe it's a prototype paint sample and they wanted to get something up quick.

Otherwise that sound you hear may be them scraping the bottom of the barrell for figure ideas.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

While many of Master Collector's figures are very nice, many aren't. The 3 I mentioned are some of the worst offenders. Unispired,bland and dischordant. They'd be bad as retail figs, but were HORRIBLE at $15 or more a piece.

That cobra logo looks a little too good. Somehow I wonder if MC would go to the expense of getting a good cobra logo on the fig if it were a mere joke.

That Barricade thing looks pretty bad to me.

Thanks for posting the link here, guys. Although I am a MC member, I logged on and was still unable to find the image of the figure until I looked here and found a link.

The MC site is the most confusing and poorly laid-out site I've ever been to. It's horrid.

As for the figure, it's not a bad concept- but it's not a good figure, either. The bone-colored head doesn't work at all with the metallic colored plastic used for the body. If the head were also molded in the metallic grey, it might actually look interesting. I like the logo, though.

They tweaked a few of the figures prior to release last year, so I won't get worried about it yet.

That Cobra logo looks like it was digitally added to the picture, frankly. Neatly and effectively, but it's just a little TOO clean. Just my own theory. I suppose we'll just have to see.

That being an actual figure in the set would make me seriously reconsider getting a package. If they are trying to joke around, it's not wise to joke with money. That & April Fools Day's lame.
