I like the o-ring and would prefer figures I can take apart to customize rather than break.
Of course my black and white TV and Atari 2600 and my Nintendo all work top notch still after 20 plus years... as opposed to the crap now that lasts a year or 2 then breaks so you have to replace it..... but I digress

The o-ring itself is irrelevant; but belt-line ball movement is a *must*. The moob-joint simply isn't an adequate replacement for the proper waist joint. The o-ring is far from the only (or even best) way to accomplish this. They could do it using the exact same engineering they use now, just taking the top off the t-bar (which does nothing vital that couldn't be done another way that I can discern) and simply bring the 'domed' ball joint down to the beltline.

The clincher for this better way to articulate the figs so far as Hasbro's concerned is that it would make it even easier to parts-swap to make new figs as you no longer have to worry about the legs you want to use needing to match the pelvis of the torso you want to use.

you know, you can get away without an o-ring...just place the parts together like they always do and just screw the front and back together.

hasbro, make it easy for us to customize our figures again. the 25th figures look beautiful. but rather than damaging them during customizing. give us the o-rings and back screws again.

There are hundreds of different 0-ring figures you can still use for customization. The 25th is a whole different beast - let it be so.

If you still feel the need for "new" 0-ring figures, buy the Hulk stuff.

No sense in quoting him and telling him to do something when he's been ban hammered.

I just want the screw, not the o-ring. The remaining stubs of my fingers will thank you.

Agreed. Microman has 3 screws in there torsos (1 chest, 2 abdomen). At the convention, Hasbro said that there is no room for screws, but I know there is room for sure.

The upper torso deffinitely has room for a screw.

I just reassembled my custom for the NJC tonight. Yeah, 25th customizing sucks. I'm going to potentially screw up a custom I spent hours on because I'm forced to superglue the torso back together? Total "LASER BLAST".
