Update - I figured out what was wrong with Ace (other than his head) -- his lower torso was way too long. It wasn't as noticeable until you took his harness off. He ended up being taller than Roadblock or BeachHead and his arms barely came down to his waist. I went ahead and carved off an 1/8inch or more off his lower torso (right where the belt is) - made all the difference in the world. Then of course, I gave him a new head (DTC Mutt in this case) - now he looks pretty good. The only problem is, he's still too big to fit in my Thunderwing (unless you take the goofy helmet off), and I always thought the astronaut suit was kind of lame, so he'll be a "display piece" for now. But at least he looks ok, and now I know how to fix WB when I get him

And on the WW/SJ front - it's pretty obvious that this mold was designed specifically for both figs. If it weren't for the duck-shoe snowboots, there'd be no way to tell that this was ever intended to be an arctic uniform. Too many elements lend themselves more to WW than SnowJob: the front leg "pockets" are smoothed out for the mapboards, the zippered neck, etc. If they'd done a foot swap for WW it'd have been perfect.

its sweet it might be more of the same but a joe is a joe Im eagrly awaiting to find ace and Wildweasel the fred and scarface and of course the Twins....finally something In La.

as ones I never had...I was able to help him with the entire Wave 5 ...And its down the street...

One Wal-Mart got a shipment of the latest comic packs a few weeks ago. I found 1 single Ace/Wild Weasel pack. The following week a different Wal-Mart got their shipment. I got all but an extra Tomax/Xamot pack that I want. For 2 weeks now, no Wal-Mart in my area has gotten a new restock, or even their first stock of these. No Torpedo, Rock N Roll, or Armor CC anywhere either.

Makes me want to ask Hasbro when the distribution is actually going to get betteras they claimed it would ....

Picked these up the other day. Still haven't read or opened the Fred/Scarface twofer, maybe i'll get to it tonight. But i wanted to echo how solid a figure Wild Weasel is, despite the smallish head. The twins were a nice surprise. This was the first two-pack of the line historically, and the extra effort they put into the packaging, including the well-written file cards, makes me willing to pony up the cash for an extra to keep on card. And i'm not even that jazzed about the characters!

found all the comic packs at target here in baytown(east houston) just a few hours ago. they also had the gold headed destro wave as well...i was gonne pick em up but really didnt want to spend the money on them. if anyone needs them let me know. they had only one twins pack, one ace pack, 2 of the cc and scar face pack, 2 se/se pack and 1 destro and breaker
