my local target restocked all the other ones recently. I have a feeling I won't see these for awhile.

Awesome. I have gotten almost all the first round, except the jet and dune buggy. I have even picked up a few others and put them in my storage box with some other clearance figure I got. Love the new ones I can't wait to add those to my army.

I just pick up 3 go the original General Zods for 5 bucks each at Walmart, and several red skulls.

Can't quite tell, looks like the drop down pistol holsters might be sculpted onto the leg rather that separate pieces glued in place. That would be somewhat disappointing; I have bought a few on their figures in the past just to strip off the glued on pouches and holsters for other projects.

Question for some of you guys that have gotten these. Are the tac vests part of the body sculpt, or are they separate pieces that are glued on? I went to target, and looked at one of the 5 packs, and they looked like one piece. If so, I'll have to pass. As nice as the vests look, I want a chest and a vest..two pieces, so I can customize however I want.

I also don't like the heads with the hats glued on. Too bad, because if those heads had removable hats, and the bodies had removable packs, they'd probably get a customer from me, and I'm looking to spend a good deal of money on my team. And the price point I'm seeing is right where I'd be happy. 5 figures for $20 is outstanding.

If anybody from bbi happens to see this thread (it could happen), make your figures with the most interchangeable pieces possible. Do that, and you'll greatly increase the number of figures you sell.

The figures I'm looking at, especially the new ones coming out, are really, really nice looking. In my perfect universe, both bbi and Hasbro could produce 3.75s, and I'd buy both.

We shall see. I might just say, "screw it", and go back and buy that 5 pack, and see what I can do with it. I'm hitting the Dollar General stores, and 2 more Toys R Us stores tomorrow.

They are NOT removable without a scalpel basically.. a FEW of the single pack guys do have removable helmets..
you'll have to hit some of the customizer stores for removable stuff like your wanting though..

Saw the wave 1 stuff at a few Ross stores today. Single figs were $3.99, the buggy w/driver $8, and both small copter sets at $16 each. Hope this means Target dumped these off to make room for the new figures.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned already but Meijer also carries this line.

New vehicles have hit!! Just saw a new APC (same as before but tan) and new dune buggy (same as before but black). Also had a new set with a para figure, real chute and sling-shot launched glider.

And on the back are pictured another Little Bird and a SEAL gun boat with drone!

Got the glider/parachute set for my son yesterday. It's a fun little set and combines the parachute pack and Falcon glider all into one.

Looking forward to these hitting my local Target. Mine still has lots of the first line.

That's the funny thing; this store restocked the wave 1 singles, the large vehicles and maybe the 5-pack. I'm thinking wave 2 could hit at any time.

I still need to pick up the wave 1 plane, I passed on the dune buggy. But our Ross store has gotten some of the wave one in for 3.99. The lady a target said to either bring in the packaging with the tag on it or the receipt and they would price match. I know its only a dollar cheaper but that adds up when your buying 5 figures or more.

Ok, I feel like a complete idiot, but it seems that BBI has a few different lines of these figures. I picked up the Elite Force Navy SEAL diver for $5 yesterday. 1/18 with like 30 points of articulation. $4.99. While the body itself (the lower half anyway) is nothing to write home about, the gear is quite useful. And I like the sculpted heads. A little dremel work could totally make him work with these modern Joes. These are the figures that Ross is getting in, correct?

I've seen some other figures with more gear, and something to the effect of "packs now removable" written on the bottom of the package. These sell for much more on EBay/Amazon. I would assume these are a more older kid/adult oriented figure with better body construction.

If these more expensive figures do in fact work with the modern Joes, then I fully expect I'll be buying some of them, too. I'm just wondering if there's been a topic somewhere that covers what figures can be pieced off to work with my Joes. That would be really helpful. I'll look to see if I can find one.
