My money's on it being available at the con.

My money's on it not being available at all. I'm not convinced the demand is there for these figs anymore...at least not at the likely $15-$20/figure pricetag. The 25th stuff has largely killed demand for new sculpt figures. And, really, what would you rather buy: 3 or 4 anniversary Cobra Troopers or 1 of these DTC molds?

Of the figs, I could see Munitia getting released as the membership figure next year. But, I don't think there's enough demand for these figs anymore to justify their production.

That Gristle looks exactly like a V1 was RIT dyed drak green. I might have to test my theory...

I like Gristle, he's much nicer than the original, though I'm not totally certain about the red hair... His pistol's awesome, extras of those would be very useful. As for a Mech, kinda figured they'd pull the Pulverizer at some point since we had the Iron Mech. I suppose I'll get one, but it's rather meh.

i dunno, that craptastic roddy piper is fetching $150 a pop. it may not be the figure itself, the exclusive-ness of it, and the investment angle people care about.

If it does end up being the CLAW Mech that's very, VERY cool, just for the possibility that we may end up getting more stuff that's been previously unreleased in the past. Me being the Sigma 6 ho that I am is excited about possibly not only getting a Sigma 6 accurate 3 3/4" Sky BAT, but also a possible accurate Mech suit. Very cool.

Then we can start thinking about all the other rumored stuff that never hit retail... hmmmmm

Justin

actually, although the excitement has fizzled a bit, I still see completists, and customizers buying the DC sets. as well as collectors, once they see that theyre available.

plus,.. since hasbro is mass producing them, you can always get the troopers later....

agreed. The only one I liked was Airtight. Munitia would be nice, but the others aren't anything special, especially with the 25th stuff.

Yeah, Definitely Munitia & maybe Airtight would be the only ones I'd want. I'll wait for my 25th Night Viper, thank you.

well,.. reguardless, you know they will sell, the Scalpers and retailers would eat up anything us collectors wouldnt buy. and ebay would be flooded with them, being bought p by anyone who didnt attend the con,...
