Since it was revealed at the convention that your employees frequent GI Joe message boards, I would like to post a few things I would like to see in the 25th anniversary line. I appreciate the responsiveness to things like improving the figure's hip atriculation, and I figured I'd offer a few more suggestions to improve the line.

1. Put the Arashikage Clan Tattoos on the Comic Pack Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow- Since this will be the 2nd comic pack based on issue #21, and the 40th or so version of them both, how about adding the clan tattoos on their arms from that moment it was established their was a connection between the pair. You may have to switch a couple of forearms for the paint app, but that should be relatively simple, and would be a nice addition to the long line of figures they already have.

2. Give us a Lady Jaye without a cap! I know you're trying to remain faithful to the figures from the '80's, but a Lady Jaye without a cap would be tremendous. You've done it before (Comic Pack #44), please do it again!

3. Increase the number of figures per case! I know when I hear of a case of figures, I think of more than eight. When you are talking about the 25th anniversary figures a case of eight figures usually contains two figures of the popular one, and single figures of the rest. Once they are put out on the pegs one collector can easily clean out the selection, even if they aren't a scalper. I know there are complex issue with store relationships and distribution and such, but even an increase to 12 figures per case would help. In the last two days I've been to 3 Targets, 3 Wal-Marts, and a Toys R US, and the grand total of 25th figures was 1 Storm Shadow. It can't be helping the stores either, they can't make money with empty pegs.

Ok, I've ranted enough for now. I love the new line of figures, and I hope the response will keep them in the stores for another twenty-five years!

Dear Hasbro,

I'll add my two cents just in case you really are reading here for comments:

I agree with the original poster on the topic of Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. Since this will be the second comic pack from the issue 21 (third if you count the one from '05) with the same two characters, some variety would be nice. I know a lot of collectors gripe about the proliferation of SS/SE figures in the line, but I'm just the opposite: Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes are the MAIN characters I collect and the bulk of my collection is made up of various versions of these two characters! I would love to see them as they appeared on the last page of the issue, with the arm wraps falling away to reveal the red clan tattoo on both of their arms! Very cool!

Another thing...the recent Q&A also asked about Sideshow Toys making a high end line of 12 Inch GI Joe dolls. I think this is a FANTASTIC idea! It seems like the RAH have never had a very good representation in 12 inch form. The old school Military GI Joes always look nice, but imagine if we got the 25th Anniversary style treatment in 1/6 scale, with accurately tailored outfits and gear, and proportionate bodies like the Sideshow Star Wars and Lord of the Rings lines. It would definitely be worth the extra money for such an awesome product...I can imagine it now...Cobra Commander with interchangable helmet and hood, with the authentic stylings of the original 1982 figure. And of course Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, and all the rest. It really is a fantastic idea and I think the success of the 25th figures proves that there is demand for high quality versions of these characters we've all grown up with.

Thanks for listening and keep up the great work! I really appreciate it!

Here is my question(s):

With the Cobra Legions set and the wave 2 Cobra Trooper (Viper pilot) out, would it be possible to re-make/re-release their vehicles? A styrofoam glider would be extremely cheap to make and sell, even if it did have to be re-designed, and would give me a reason to buy a silver-sigil Cobra Trooper. Not to mention it would be a nice nod to us older collectors, and a cheap toy for kids of today. The Stinger jeep was used for TRU in '98, and would be a great release in Cobra blue, and would not need a redesign, unless the original molds were altered for the Desert Striker. It would really need to be along the lines of the original molds (especially roll cage) to be a hit.

Dear Hasbro,

I love you and want to have your babies. Let's run away to Vegas and get married.

Seriously, I have no real suggestions to add except that we need a proper suit and tie body. Think of all the characters that could benefit from that single part: Dr. Venom, Tomax/Xamot, Hector Ramirez, Cesspool, Headman, General Flagg, etc.

Other than that just keep doing what you're doing you big beautiful toy company you :love:

Oh and and a Cobra Officer painted up in Crimson and silver would look really neat. No real reason for it, but I'd like to see it :)

I agree with the Cobra Stinger jeep as I would love to army build some since I hadn't in the past. DTC Hiss would look great on store shelves as well.

I don't really care too much for thr DTC HISS. I was glad to see it when it came out, but I really don't like the missile launchers, especially the ones on the treads. Open back sucks too. But, these didn't seem to do too good on the shelves, they sat around for a long time.

The only shelves that DTC Hiss was on were the DTC shelves. They never hit the shelves at retail. Where did you see them on shelves at?

TRU carried them and the Night Hummer and the DTC repaint of the snow vehicle and the ROCC.

Didn't see em at my TRU's must've sold out up here in Denver. Thanks though. :)

OK since I had last post figured I'd just add to it...
How about a number sheet to come in the HISS's so that those that army build them could put whatever # they want on the HISS and they all wouldn't have the same # on them.

Yeah, they were stacked up at a lot of the TRU's I hit between TN and MI.

A number sheet is an excellent and long overdue idea.

Nope, never saw HISSes or Hummers at any of the Houston TRUs, and the Ice Sabers for like 2 weeks. I think they went lukewarm on DTC because of the uber-lame Night Creeper pack-in (seriously, was there *any* thought given to that at all?) and the need to charge shipping on top of the price. DTC will never be a true success until the shipping cost is absorbed into the cost of the item itself, imho.

Dear Hasbro;
Use the Joeticulation standard for more than just Joe figs, please. Do more 'other' lines of all sorts using their engineering. And bring back 18th Marvel Superdoods, dammit. Showdown failed because of the lame-ass game jacking up the price and the general lousiness of the sculpting/engineering; not from lack of interest.
