That is pretty cool. Back when he was talking about releasing this we hadn't seen confirmation that TRU would be carrying the A-10. A Rattler themed one is a natural fit. Too bad MJ got screwed over on this exclusive.

no thats the exact same size as the A-10 released by PTE, only done in Blue, which MJ had thought about having done but not enough interest and also cost too much after shipping and such... So basically its a ONE of a KIND and not a custom.. cause it was actually molded by PTE not someone else...

But the PTE A-10 is a LOT larger than the BBI and Hasbro ones if thats the ones you mean...

This isn't a knock-off, it's a one of a kind prototype. Big difference.

Thanks for the info. Maybe that pic is like the fishing photos where the fish looks bigger than it actually is because the fisherman holds it out in front of him.

the green one is what the blue one in the photo is.... the blue one on top is the :hasbro:

Rattler... So yea it is bigger than the Rattler and the BBI one that came out a while back thru Target...

Hey!
Yes, releasing the item would have been great! Our exclusive version would have originally been available about 6 to 9 months BEFORE the regular version. We also had several different decal sheets planned to be released with the jet.

In addition to being molded in blue (NOT "painted") & the black wing ordinances, the prototype has several design & engineering "issues" that were changed for the final production versions. The landing gear, wing point missile & bomb attachment points, cockpit details and some other cosmetic features were changed for the final production release.

It is just such a cool item....and Bithomas can testify to just how cool it looks in person! :-D
